My opinion on Celibre Medical – The staff was very kind and helpfull. They were understanding with the times and scheduling. The prices they had to offer were cheap and reasonable compared to other places. The end results were amazing. I would refer any of my friends to Cilibre Medical.
My Thoughts on Celibre – Excellent staff, professional service, great scheduling times, realistic expectations, very good results. I am very happy with my results (acne, oily skin, blemishes, scars) and will refer when asked.
Dysport is Excellent, Ouch for Spider Veins – I originally contacted Celibre requesting to be treated by Dr. Kaplan. Although it was a nurse that did my treatment, I was extremely pleased regarding the results of the Dysport and the quality and professionalism of the staff (the nurse I had). The jury is still out on the spider veins (that procedure hurts!) but I am very happy I went to Celibre for Dysport and will go back for future treatments there.
Brought My Son for Acne – Brought my son to Celibre for acne treatments and red scars. It was a good experience with nice people and we were very happy with the results. He is still a bit red and broken out, but a lot better.
Botox for a Frozen Face – I am being treated at Celibre for wrinkles and skin texture. I have had Botox and am currently getting laser peels. I wanted a frozen face (the more the better!) with Botox and I got it. Lori, the nurse, was fantastic. I never felt uncomfortable, scared or hesitant because she explained everything well in advance. What I thought was much different than in my past experience with other medical offices was that they took the time to really listen to me. I felt like they really know what I needed and then were able to help me with my issues.
Mouth Injections (Restylane) – I went to Celibre to improve the fine lines around my mouth. I ended up being injected with Restylane around the mouth, both for the lines above the upper lip and for an area at the side of my mouth that was turning down a bit (pouting look). I was extremely pleased with the area at the corners of the mouth because I did not even know that look could be improved with injections. I was a little more concerned with the lip area because I had slight lumpiness for a week or two after the procedure. It looks fine now but it would have been better if I was forewarned on that. Four weeks after the treatment I was happy with the results and would recommend Celibre based on the experience.
V-Star for Rosacea – My dermatologist actually referred me to Celibre. He was using an IPL for my Acne Rosacea and dry skin and I was not improving. I did not get my hopes up because I have tried a lot of treatments. My skin always looks chapped and nothing has been able to improve it. What I liked about the approach was that Lori, my nurse, did not start me on the laser treatments until we went over everything I was using on my face first to determine if something could be making the dryness worse. I was using a lot of products and we eliminated a few of them before starting the laser treatments. Three months later, I am happy to say that my skin has improved by leaps and bounds. The dryness and cracking is gone (maybe because of both the products I eliminated and the lasers) and my skin looks much fresher and younger with no irritation. I am sticking to a maintenance program of laser treatments every couple months to keep my skin looking the way it is now and I would recommend that to others with Acne Rosacea.
First time botox patient – I went to Celibre the first time I tried Botox. I didn't know what to expect because it was my first time, but Michelle the nurse that treated me was very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to share her knowledge and experience and I liked that. She helped to get rid of the anxiety I had. I was worried about the lines around my eyes on the sides and after the treatment they were gone. I will be visiting again soon.
Was Very Dissapointed – I was very hesitant to move forward with this company because I got the feeling like I was being rushed. But my sister was treating here and we carpool, so I figured I would go ahead.
I have been to other places in the past and frankly this one really pales. Almost every time I have to wait a LONG time and sometimes I feel rushed through the treatments - how can I get results? When I expressed my concern the nurse wasn't mean exately, but I kinda felt ignored. I would pass on this one.
While we can't comment directly because we do not know if this is a patient and if so, who it is, we will comment generally. Many years ago we initiated a program whereby if a patient waits more than 20 minutes for their treatment they are issued a $25 service credit. In all of 2009, we have issued less than 10 credits, an indication of how seriously we take wasting our patient's time. If we cancel or reschedule a patient appointment within 24 hours of their appointment (for any reason) we issue a $50 service credit. Finally, patients are scheduled in blocks of time that are generally 15 minutes longer than their appointments. The first reason is so that we have time to perform a thorough treatment and the second is so that our nurses may have time to properly chart the treatment afterward. While we take reviews on Citysearch very seriously, the lack of details about treatment and the manner in which this review conflicts with the way we run our business calls it into question.
