Busy but worth the wait. I went in on Thursday night and I was surprised how busy it was. After learning the chef was going to be on this coming season of TOP CHEF my partner and I were excited. I figured that was why it was so busy. We had to wait 15 minutes and the service was a tad slow but the food was DELICIOUS and just what we wanted. I could tell the servers and mgr were busy but I asked to meet the chef anyway. She is adorable. We will be back.

Yummy. This restaurant has outrageous food and desserts for a very affordable price. The staff and service is great and the overall atmosphere is excellent. Highly Recommend!! 5 Stars.

the food is so tasty!. I ate here the other night at it was so delicious. The food was flavorful and not expensive at all. We shared a bunch of appetizers. we had the mac n cheese rolls, the spicy shrimp, the matzoh ball soup and the chicken wings. everything was so yummy. our server was super nice and made us feel really comfortable. i totally want to come back for brunch!!

Great food for the buck. I cant believe this place is not packed all the time. I had the Tuna and the bartender on Wednesday nights makes a great cocktail. Go before the rest of the world finds about it. The weekends seem to be the busiest time.

Leave this place for the tourists. Went for brunch today. The restaurant was half empty and we couldn't stomach the wait at other nearby favorites.

The menu is a big snooze, so predictable. Once the food finally arrived after a long wait for a very simple order it was well seasoned and cooked.

Our complaints are with the staff and service. Service was slow and unresponsive, we had to ask for milk for our coffee 3 times because they kept giving us a tiny amount rather than a full container.

Staff were bickering amongst themselves at a loud enough volume for it to be annoying.

The check took ages.

The bathrooms could also be cleaner, the toilet I used has a streak of red/brown who knows what all down the outside of the bowl....repulsive!

This place was certainly nothing to write home about. I half expect that all the good reviews on Citysearch were posted by the owners or their friends.

What is going on here?. How is this place still open? Someone's mommy or daddy must be pumping money into this perpetually empty place. After passing this ghost town on a number of occasions we decided to check it out. We (myself and three friends) were treated as if they were doing us a favor even though the restaurant was completely empty on a Wednesday evening. Food took 45 minutes and was just plain garbage. When we inquired as to the whereabouts of our dinner, the waitron told us and I quote "...the A-Hole chef takes her time..." OK. 1) Macaroni and cheese rolls were greasy, empty shells with burned macaroni with what appeared to be tomato soup poured over them. 2) Salmon-overcooked, dirty from the grill with nasty oily cucumbers over uncooked asparagus. 3)Meatloaf- A lump of under seasoned cold-in-the-middle meat, rolled in undercooked pastry dough and topped with something tasting vaguely like BBQ sauce. 4)Fish and Chips-Go to Arthur Treacher's, it's better. What a horror show. Please go away.

Wow!. A neighborhood restaurant with Great Food and Staff.

My friends and I found this place while walking the neighborhood. Just when we thought that we were running out of options, we find that 24 Prince can host our large group for a party. And it was the most least work that we had to do. Usually, one is running around looking for venues, caterers, flowers, etc. This place did it all for us. And best of all, it was a centralized location for our friends and family. The Backyard was nice, calm and relaxing, it was perfect. The Food was great and delicious. The staff was kind, professional and interactive with everyone. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

The Worst Service Ever. If you're planning a party, don't even bother with this place. I made reservations weeks in advance and even kept in touch with the manager so that the party would go smoothly. Days before, I specifically requested the tables in the garden, under the tent, so that the guests wouldn't suffer in the sun. At the time, the manager agreed to accomodate, granted it wasn't too busy. Fine, that was reasonble enough. We get there, the place is empty and they didn't even have the tables set up. Nobody working there knew what was going on and had us waiting around. No apologies. Finally, they set up the tables and half of them are under the tent and the other half are in the sun, right in front of the doorway. We're all waiting forever for our menus and the sun was getting unbearable. Of course, the guests were suffering in the sun and requested some sort of shade, especially since there were all these outdoor umbrellas lying around. While the waitstaff were trying to figure out how to work one of their umbrellas (which ended up not having the right parts to keep it up), the manager comes out, downplays the guests' suffering, doesn't even try to get the umbrella to work, and says, "This is not going to last for very long. It'll get better in a few mintues." Since when did she control the sun? By this time, I had to say something and she was defensive, condescending, disrespectful and rude. I would think a restaurant manager would do her best to accomodate her guests and make sure they are enjoying their time at her restaurant. And, I would think if you made reservations, they would have the tables set and ready. Apparently, at this restaurant, that's not the case. Now I understand why the place is always empty. The food is mediocre at best and the service is terrible. If you want rude service with a manager that has major attitude, then go here. Otherwise, take your business elsewhere where you'll be treated with respect.

GREAT COZY PLACE!!. I've gone many times to 24 Prince & everytime that I have gone, I've been treated great!! The staff is very attentive & very friendly. Everyone in there wears a smile on their face! The food is very delicious, the menu has a dozen different options & the staff is willing to alter to your taste. The place is very cozy, great for a spot with your friends or with a date. The food is outrageous and very well prepared. I think everyone should try this restaurant out & see how great it really is!!

GREAT SERVICE, CANT WAIT FOR THE BACKYARD TO OPEN!. BEEN HERE BEFORE BUT I AM TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW BECAUSE SOMETHING GREAT HAPPENED HERE. MY FRIENDS AND I - 6 OF US - WENT OUT TO A RESTAURANT FOR ONE OF OUR BIRTHDAYS ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. THAT RESTAURANT MADE US WAIT 2 HOURS!!! FOR A TABLE WE STILL NEVER SAT. WE DECIDED TO WALK AROUND THE CORNER TO 24PRINCE WHERE I SHOULD HAVE SUGGESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT HERE IS THE GREAT THING...WE GOT THERE AND EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE ON A WAIT THEY SAID THEY COULD SEAT US VERY QUICKLY. WELL WE WERE STARVING AND VERY UNTRUSTING OF THE HOSTESS AT THIS POINT BUT WE DECIDED TO WAIT. I GUESS THE MANAGER OVERHEARD US COMPLAINING ABOUT THE TERRIBLE EVENING WE WERE HAVING AND THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE US FEEL BETTER AND WELCOME. SOMEONE SENT US AN ORDER OF HUMMUS AND SOME INCREDIBLE MAC AND CHEESE ROLL. ( I NEVER HAD THOSE BEFORE BUT THEY SHOULDNT BE SKIPPED.) I JUST WANT TO SAY WE SAT WITHIN 20 MINUTES AND HAD CALMED DOWN BECAUSE OF THE FOOD AND SERVICE. THEY DEFINATLEY WON SOME LOYAL CUSTOMERS ON THIS NIGHT. P.S. THEY SENT MY GIRFRIEND A HOMEMADE CUPCAKE WITH A CANDLE IN IT FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND WE DIDNT EVEN ORDER IT.
