INTERESTING AND DELICIOUS,,COMFORT FOOD AT ITS FINEST.
THE RESTAURANT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE TO THIS FIRST TIME DINER AND MY PARTY. THE PLACE WAS UPBEAT AND TASTEFULLY DECORATED.THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD.APPETIZERS
THROUGH ENTREE'S AND DESERTS WERE EXCEPTIONAL. TH E WINE LIST WAS VERY INTERESTING.WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.
Umm, Umm, Ummm. Yummy.. A great find. Friends familiar with the neighborhood invited us to this place. Not only were we hanging out with friends, we made new friends. Got there on a busy night, and hung out at the bar for a table. Got seated in a timely manner. The food is tasty and great for sharing for the whole table. Good Wine List. Had a great time. Definitely will come back. Price is awesome.
Great Location but Awkward Environment. This is a great restaurant to go without a reservation because it's NEVER busy and the food is consistently good and relatively inexpensive. My only complaints are the bad music and it's always too brightly lit. I eat here once or twice a week because I live in the neighborhood. Over the past few months I have noticed some annoying things about 24 Prince. It seems the majority of the patrons are friends of the owners (i.e.- drunk, obnoxious, ex-soroity/fratenity crowd). Also, the owners hang out at the bar which is weird.
The best burger in town, beautiful setting. You just have to go... Check out the burger, so amazying..Great friend cool set up...Had a birthday party there in the room downstairs so much fun....Great spot mid week for diner...
good food good vibe. The braised pork and mac n chz were off the hook, it was the perfect meal for a cold night. I wish i saved room for dessert. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.

Not a place for dinner... stay away!. Went for a Friday night dinner with a bunch of girlfriends. The food was very mediocre. It took a ridiculously long time for the appetizers and main course to arrive. The service was the worse, have not had such terrible service in long time. The waitress could not care less. If you want to go to this place, go for drinks only which were pretty good.
Best Mac n Chz, Great cocktails & low prices: Will be back. I live in the lower east side and tend to stay in my area to eat most of the time. My friends were in town from LA and they wanted to go eat at 24 Prince. After I put up a fight i went to go meet them, they were sitting in the garden which was a nice surprise. We had eveything on the menu (we eat lots) and everything was great. We all walked out very full and a little tipsy. I will be back soon. BIG FAN of the MAC n CHZ
Lame "garden", mediocre (at best) brunch. Their "garden" in a depressing concrete slab with a few dead potted plants. Brunch menu seemed good, but the portions were wimpy and the food tasted mediocre at best - even the ice tea tasted bad! Service was nonexistent, waited 20 minutes after asking for the check. No wonder it was dead during Saturday brunch when everything else in the neighborhood was packed! Should've taken that as a clue...
Great Experience, Cool Vibe. Dined at 24 Prince in the backyard garden. Very easygoing atmosphere. Food was very good with basic American comfort food dishes on the menu. It was a perfect meal for July 4th. The wait staff came by to check on us several times without being intrusive. The price is VERY reasonable for what you get. I would definitely return to 24 Prince. Great date place, too. If you're into very good quality food at a reasonable price, this is for you. If you're into people watching and pretense, head elsewhere.
