Best damn burger I have ever had! – First off, staff was really friendly. That seems to be a treat now and days. We entered the restaruant and was greated my a young guy who sat us on the patio. The patio area was huge! Its was our first time to the raleigh location, though i have been to Brier Creek. I was very impressed. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 kids meals, large fring, and 2 shakes. Though It may seems a little expensive, I just happen to have about a million free side coupons that i got at the gas station. We walked out paying 27 dollars including 15%!!!! Not to shabby for a family of four. I like the concept, like the staff, and love the food! It is a must try.
If you have unlimited time and money go here – Took forever won't go back.
Excellent food, service and price (Brier Creek) – We visited on Saturday and had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional.
When we arrived a young lady came from the food service area and escorted us to the other side of the place to meet the hostess (we came in on the take out side of the rest.) the hostess seated us immediatly and explained the menu, the way to build our burgers or salads and told us about the foods. She highlighted all of the shakes and pointed to where we could find different things on the menu. She also told us about the Frings basket which was great since I like fries and my husband likes O-rings. Our waiter came over quickly and when we weren't ready to order asked if he could get us something to drink while we decided. we gave him our milshake orders and he brought us water and then the shakes.
It did not take very long for our food to come out and the burgers were excellent. They had a flame cooked taste to them, were cooked exactly how we ordered them and the toppings were fresh and tasted great. I had a cheeseburger with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and BBQ sauce, my husband had a larger burger with cheddar, lettuce, tomatoe, onion and pickle with mayo. We didn't just get some little bits of onion, we got a slice of a whole onion!
We were both completely impressed. We ordered a half basket of Frings and half sized shakes and were well satisfied and for the two burgers, frings, shakes, tax and 20% tip the whole bill came to $25, not bad if you ask me (rd robin is about twice as expensive and the food is half as good).
The place was clean, the music was at just the right level, everyone was very plesant and the service was exceptional, as was the food.
Great Burger Friendly Staff AWESOME ONION RINGS – I visited the brier creek location this week .. aparently the newest in north carolina. after eating there i was shocked when i came back and read the previous reviews. I found there was little wait to be seated. the hostess greated me with a big smile and a welcome that i am hard pressed to find anywhere. it is true that they usually take the order all at once but i requested a drink while i looked over the menu and the waitress was quick to accomidate me. the food did about 13 min. to arrive to the table once i placed my order but it is cooked to order. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. The owner?/ manager came over and talked to me(very friendly) introduced himself as ashley -- weird name for a boy but hey we are in the south!! he talked with me for about five min. on topics that were refreshing --- not just how is your food. he was very nice and thanked me again as i was walking out the door as did nearly the rest of the staff. i did some research and found out there are 3 more in the triangle. i have not had the chance to visit the rest but this visit will ensure my returning visit. the cost was a little high for a burger joint but it was one of the best burgers in town. give the brier creek location a try.
Take your $25 elsewhere – Not only is it overpriced, but the burgers are average at best. For two 1/3 lb burgers, one half basket of frings, two sodas and tip, we spent nearly $25. We left wondering why we had just spent that much money on burgers that Hardee's could put to shame. (The fries and onion rings are great, but do not make it worth the trip.) Not to mention that the wait staff was unfriendly. We won't be going back.
Expensive for what it is – Yes, it's a good burger. As long as you like it well-done, since that's how they seem to cook all burgers. I was not impressed with this restaurant. You can't order drinks and then decide on your food. You have to put the entire order in at one time. It is very expensive (remember you're ordering a hamburger, I dont' care how good it is). None of the staff was friendly at all. There are many other restaurats in the area that have much better food and service.
