Worst service in LV!!! – If I could give less than 1 star this would be the place I would do it!

Be prepared to wait a long time and get bad service.

We ordered 2 steaks at our table both medium. 1 came to the table medium rare and the other medium well ??? WTH

One member of the party had to argue with the manager for 20mins to get a couple bucks off of the worst meal we had in this town.

DO Not go here - its in the Mirage hotel

GET THE COWBOY STEAK – May be THE BEST STEAK in Vegas Huge 24oz BONE IN RIBEYE. Cooked perfectly!!!!

'Nuff Said

The Garbage Salad was also one of the best salads I've ever had.

Stay away from the appetizers... even at Happy Hour Prices.. Still overpriced.

Stay Away – We made reservations when Stack opened at 5pm. So we could have dinner before the Beatles Love Show. We were seated quickly but the place was dead It seems that the staff does not want to get in gear till much later. We pre-paid for the show and a prix fixe dinner. Even though we told the hostess of this when we were seated we were given a regular menu. After another 5 or 10 minutes after we sat down, I had to explain to the waiter of this. He replied, well we have two prix fixed dinner menus do you know which one? Fortunately, I had it printed out and with me. The salad was good but very small. The petit fillet was petit but very good and with no potato or vegetable. My wife’s chicken tasted like rubber, crusty and dry. The waiters seem not to like those that pick this prix fixe dinner; they serve in teams not individually. They waters showed up sporadically looks like they wanted you socialize with each other and not serve. My wife and tip well and have patronized many Las Vegas venues over the past several years, but we expect good food and good service. We have never written a review before this. Bad News travels fast. We spoke with the manager Chris about our poor experience. Chris needs to be replaced since he exhibits Very poor interpersonal skills. Our message to other potential patrons. Buyer beware!

This use to be my favorite restaurant.... not anymore – I am local in Las vegas and Have been to most of the good restaurant in the strip. Stack use to be my favorite...not anymore... We have reservation at 8 pm and got sited at 8 pm. Before we order I told our waiter we have a show to catch at 10 PM . 9:45 our food came :( I did not eat my food my husband was starving and eat real quick. Manager was a jerk!!! instead of apologizing and comp our drinks and appetizer he actually send the bill on out table. What a jerk!!! Im not going back there again bad I'll take my money somewhere else. Lavo and Sage is actually pretty good...good food...good service :)

Worth your time and $. – This place was outstanding. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything. There were 4 of us, we all had something different and everyone absolutely loved what he/she had. I had the 24oz bone in ribeye. I haven't been to many of the places in Vegas that are known for steak, admitidly, but this was the best steak I've ever eaten, and it was certainly better than Delmonico's. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and very flavorful. I also highly recommend the adult tator tots. It's a-la-carte, so be prepared to drop 1 1/2 to 2 bills per couple, but it's well worth it.

Cool crowd good service good food – We had horrible service from the host staff at Tao and deciced NOT to give them any of our business. We went to Stack, were welcomed with open arms. Good attentive service, good food, one the pricey side but that's how it goes in Vegas. You pay for the service, atmosphere, and good eats. Will be back again!

Best Everything! – I'm only 17, but I had to write a review ; Stack was amazing. I honestly can't see how anyone can write a bad Stack review. We were seated right away(we had reservations) although we didn't even need them as it wasn't crowded. Our waiter was a very nice young girl, very attentive. We ordered the hot rocks for an appetizer, which is probably the most unique food experience I have ever tried. It was delicious! My Dad had the roasted tomato soup which was ultra creamy and just out of this world! My entree was the 9 oz. filet, which was honestly the best I've had in my life. It came with two sauces, my favorite being the red wine reduction. My dad had the Stack hamburger, which he said was the best burger he's ever had. My Mom had the Pasta, which was so flavorful and creamy, omigosh. We got sides of mash potatoes and asparagus, which were wonderful. For dessert we had creme brulee and the chocolate cake, both beautifully presented and delicious! I don't think there's one negative thing I could say. The service made you feel like a king and the food was top notch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Great food, but... – It was my birthday and I had passed by STACK before and have always wanted to try it. At first they said the reservation I made online didn't go through, but were able to accomadate me. Food was great...but I when I was eating my dessert (i got the chocolate cake... yum it was good) I set my fork down to drink some water...And my water tried to take it away. When I explained to him I wasn't done... He set the plate back on the table and rolled his eyes and walked away... I know places like that get busy... but I wasn't even there for 45 mins... I mean... Did they expect me to swallow my food and just go... C'mon... One of the amenities... is People Watching... After my entree I felt rushed... Until I left.

Good Food, Great Service, Average Prices (For the Strip) – I decided to eat at Stack because of their price fixed pre-show dinner. When I walked in, I was taken aback by their incredible wood decor. The music playing was very hip, 20-30 something pop music, but the subwoofer to the sound system was located under my seat, which became annoying midway through dinner.

We were quickly seated and requested the special dinner, which came with: 1) Shellfish and Shrimp appetizer or Caesar Salad, 2) 9 oz steak (with a single potato chip), and 3) homemade donut holes. I got the shellfish and shrimp appetizer and it was alright. It wasn't the freshest seafood ever, but the taste and presentation was OK. Before the steak came, the server told us that the steak did not come with any sides and suggested I pick something from the menu. I picked the asparagus, which turned out to be incredible and perfectly prepared. It was steamed and tossed with garlic.

The 9 oz steak came next and it tasted great, at least initially. The steak was done to my exact liking (medium rare) and was nice and juicy. It?s served with either a peppercorn sauce or red wine reduction, though both were indistinguishable in taste. Though, one thing I realized later on was that the restaurant either used MSG or a meat tenderizer on the steak. My mouth felt very dry afterwards and I had that signature ?MSG? taste lingering in my throat after I left the restaurant.

Finally, the homemade donut holes were served for desert. They came in their own nifty take out box and with some homemade frosting; very light and not-too-sweet. The desert was the perfect ending to an almost perfect dinner.

The dinner only took us about an hour and the prices were alright for the strip, almost $50/pp after tax and tip (about average). But the servers were extremely attentive and very friendly. Overall, I would go back and eat at the restaurant again. Just remember to dress a little urban-chic so you don?t look too far out of place.
