Bikers beware! My husband and I rode all the way from Cypress to meet up with a group of friends only to be turned away at the door because he was wearing a bandana and I was wearing a "Save the TaTa's" headband. We were dressed in jeans and nice shirts (expensive Harley shirts) and yet that wasn't good enough for them...looking around I saw plenty of people in shorts, tshirts and flip flops but apparently choosing to protect our heads while riding is unacceptable to them......we left there and went down the road to Salt Grass Steak House.....yes, a steak house gladly let us in and took our money without discriminating against us because we ride motorcycles.

sukiest bar in sugarland – if you smoke love it bring your small pet all good. I have not went in awhile but service still sucks and food sucks the skinny white dude walking around thinks he is manager an a$$hole. this is one of the worse bars in Sugarland it is all hype most people go once and never go back. I tried a third time not a charm. Try Flying Saucer

WHOS THAT WAITRESS? – the best experience we've had with a server! Tall white lady named Andrea. She was very happy and very attentative, she always seemed to be around and even seemed to anticipate what we wanted. our group had good laughs with her, and stayed longer due to her service! good job baker st! she made us not mind the smoke. cheers

Terrible management and service – I had been going to this bar since they opened their doors and I am sure I spent tons of money on food and drinks. One day I decided I did not have to put up with terrible and rude service including management. I asked one of the waitresses how they can get away with awful service and the response was quick, they are one of the few bars still allowing smoking inside so they have a captive customer base and they don't have to be nice and treat customers right...so what she said makes sense to me

Bakers street pub – Went to Baker's Been there for about 3 years off and on. Some girl said I "touched" her which was NOT true. The police escorted me out the door without any questions. This place is horrible for continuuing to want people to frequent their place. I was 100% innocent and it is all about who they want hanging out in their bar. The security staff are very unprofessional; not the waitresses. I guess they just want to be important. I am a professional in the medical field (RN) and would NEVER treat a patient or their family the way I was treated.. Guess that comes with education with apparenlty they don't have! If you go there, Have a great time; but just remember, the stafff are uneducated people trying to feel "secure".

Management with an attitude – I am a frequent patron of Baker Street Sugar Land until last night. I stopped in to meet some friends and have a drink. As I was standing at the bar I was rudely pushed by a drunk who wanted to start a fight. The bouncers asked me to put my drink down and leave. I was escorted outside as if I was a trouble maker. I asked to speak to the manager and tried to identify myself as a professional with the U.S. government, by showing him my ID badge and he said he didn't care who I was or who I worked for. I asked him for his name and he refused to give it to me and told me I needed to "get the hell out of there". This is not the place to go and relax. Why get pushed by drunks without management having your back? Definitely not a safe place to be.

Great place for Some!* – Trying to give you an idea of what its like in there so here it goes:

You walk up to the bar and there is an English style phone booth and a big bouncer at the door checking id's cause its past 9 pm. You look around and see its smokey cause its one of the ONLY places you can smoke in town. Sometimes there are cute girls in there but not usually.

The bar is shaped in a big square and by about 25 feet all the way around and totally open. During the daytime you see business guys in there reading a paper and getting lunch and cute girls from the offices picking up food for their office cause the food is reasonably priced and very tasty!

At Night you cant really have much depth conversations with people because the music is pretty loud rock music. This brings in same business guys as before and women looking to meet them or to just hang out with the girls. yes goofy guys still walk around trying to pick them up so if your bringing a date hang out with her :).

Stereo Type person at Bakers Street:

White/Asian males 25-55 usually good jobs or owners.

White/Asian females 25-55 usually good jobs or owners too.

I have spoken to many different people over my 2 years of coming to this place. The staff is cool and usually same people although i am usually at the bar.

Careful there is one crazy waitress who stares at you though and if you look back at her she asks you what you are looking at. I was like wtf.. but other then that its cool.

DO NOT GO TO BAKER STREET SUGARLAND

I have been a patron at this bar for years. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this bar. Last night I got attacked by a drunk women, she threw me down, hit my head on the table. All because I asked her to keep her bare feet off my chair. Well I instead of fighting back I went and got bouncers. They came in, grabbed my husband who was standing there doing nothing tore his shirt and dragged him out while the couple that assaulted me stood there and watched. We then go outside and a gentleman comes up to us and the bouncers and says I am a witness that these people did nothing and that the women assaulted me. The bouncers take the witness inside and tell us that we have to leave. I thought I could count on these bouncers, but they completely shattered any good things that I once thought of Bakers Street Pub and Grill in Sugarland, TX. The management was absolutely rude to us and I am the one with a bruise on my face today and my husband is the one in shock today as to what happened at Bakers Street Sugarland last night. I regret all the money, friends, and family that I brought to this bar and gave money to. The bouncers should be fired, the management should be replaced. Be careful next time you go, because if someone gets drunk and attacks you, the bar will not have your back.

Not a good place to eat – Baker's St. shows up in the GREEK restaurant filter.....THIS IS NOT GREEK, it's about as Greek as your local Chili's.

Food is terrible, hot food is served cold and cold food is served hot. The only safe bet here is a sandwich...it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold!! Appetizers are dreadful. On the other hand it's a good PUB and has some good beers on draft.

Calling this place a restaurant is like calling McDonald's fine dining.

Worst waitstaff and manager – After a family wedding, we decided to keep the party going at BSP in Sugar Land since we were staying at the Marriott nearby. After our waitress finally noticed that we were sitting there, she came by and said "what do you guys want? oh I see you have drinks... (well we had to go to the bar after 15 mins of waiting for her) and said she'd "be back"... we started to complain that it took her forever to finally come by and when she did, she left... so she came back to our table immediately and said "are you guys talking sh&t about me?". Seriously, that's how she addressed us... we were so pissed at that point and we said "yeah, you were rude. " And she continued to cuss us out and decided she wasn't going to wait on us- SO, we decided to escalate the situation, we were celebrating a life changing event at this place for goodness sake! Do you think the manager apologized for his foul-mouthed wait staff? F&ck no!! (hehe!) He then continued to say that we could leave if we didn't like it there and that he couldn't do anything about her. THANK GOD a decent human being came by to check on us and we were able to somewhat salvage the last 30 minutes in that place with a few cold ones and an appetizer (which we were charged for 2 instead of 1).... I would recommend that that last nice waitress find a nicer place to work where she would fit in much better. I will never return to this place AGAIN!!
