Rafain is a whole lot better than its other competitors – My husband and I love Rafain. The meat selection is great and the seasoning is perfect..meat is always tender...juicy...melt in your mouth good! Their salad bar also has a great selection. Too bad I always end up having no room for dessert since all the desserts look delicious! I would highly recommend this place!
Friendly service, Delicious Food, and Great for Business Events! – I have been to Rafain a few times before deciding to take the end of the year party there last year. They reserved a very pretty private room and set the table especially the way I wanted, there was a Brazilian server that was so sweet. The best part was when the gauchos began bringing the meats to the table, everyone went crazy, and meats were spectacular, juicy, and great seasoning! We already have plans to bring the end of the year this year again, especially now that I know they have 2 new private rooms!
Keep this great Brazilian Steakhouse; I know you'll be impress!!! There's also an event coordinator on site.
FANTASTIC BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE!!! – Simply the best, Trust me! No other restaurant compares to the food, service and atmosphere of Rafain's. The meat are always so juicy and cooked the way you request it...the salad bar even has sea food and hot dishe items! Desserts bar is to die for, there are so many different brazilian desserts and some american cakes and pies.
As I read their history, it seems like they are in business in Brazil for about 50 years now and are now spreading through the US.
I highly recommend it, you guys will simply love it!
Outstanding Brazilian Steakhouse! – I lived in Brazil for many years and know Brazilian food well. Known as a "rodizio" (rotation) "churrascaria" (steakhouse), Rafain would be considered top-notch in Brazil. It is just as good as the so-popular Fogo de Chao, but more reasonably priced. The salad bar is a visual as well as a gastronomic treat, and I salivate just thinking of the meats. Try the "Picanha", considered the choicest cut of beef by Brazilians, available in normal, garlic, and my favorite, "spicy" (Rafain's version of "Tex-Braz"). The filet mignon, "alcatara" and pork tenderloin are also high on my list. The chicken breast was just a tad too dry for my taste, but my wife thought it was just right. Try the Brazilian version of beef stroganoff served with rice rather than noodles - yummy! Service was exceptional - the staff seemed almost telepathic. Beware of the Brazilian national drink, the Caiparinha - you'll have a hard time stopping after just one! Coming after the salad and all those meats the dessert bar is cruel and unusual punishment - but I cant resist the caramel pudding! Rafain is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Dallas.
What a Treat! I am now a Brazilian!! It just keeps getting better!!!!!!!!!!!! – Never have I experienced such a wonderful atmosphere of family, graciousness, courteousness and fantastic service at any restaurant in the DFW area. The food and SERVICE has always been SPECTACULAR!!!! My family and I can't get enough of the Brazilian cuisine, we eat there at least two times a week. It is always the first choice to take clients and friends. I'm personnally offended that someone with the slightest ability to comprehend the cost of doing business would be so very negative and not understanding. i.e 20 guest separate checks, a guarantee of a credit card for reserving an area for 20 guest. Hey guys your bad experience was based upon your unreasonableness.
Best quality, service, selection anywhere – Re: Horrible customer service; mediocre selection, txmif, 6-16-06.
I have lost count of the times I have been to Rafain's since they opened and I have never
experienced or observed anything less then food that was outstanding in quality and selection,
service that was impeccable and management that has gone above and beyond the efforts of
any other establishment I have patronized to make me, my wife and all the guests we have
brought there to feel warmly welcomed. Not just as " regular customers" but more like family.
It is unfortunate that there are people who will make reservations for a large party and not
show up or call ahead to cancel in a timely manner, and to set aside twenty seats on a prime
dining night and not get the revenue is a big lose for any restaurant. It is not unreasonable
to ask for a credit card to ensure there is not complete lose.
They have never hesitated to give separate checks in my experience but, with twenty people...
there has to be a limit!
As for the cake...c'mon guys, it is a restaurant, they're in the business of selling food. Cake
Rafain's is an outstanding restaurant that all others can learn from.
Fantastic Service and great value! – I've entertained business clients as well as family to this wonderful restaurant on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The Rafain name is well respected in Brazil and they have firmly established their name here in Dallas. The service is impeccable as they see to it that each guest is well catered to. They see to it that the meats are well prepared and seasoned to your liking. Don't believe me; just ask Nevio or John to prepare a piece of meat your way-done!
I would and have recommend Rafain to many of my friends and customers. Ask for Nevio or John and they will take care of the rest.
Best Brazilian Steakhouse in DFW – My family used to go to competitors before Rafain opened. After going to Rafain, we became frequent customers. Food and customer service exceeds expectations every time. We pay less for better food, better atmosphere and better customer service.
If you enjoy Brazilian food, Rafain is the only place to.
Horrible customer service; mediocre selection – I've never seen a restaurant with such a CAN'T do attitude. We planned a birthday party there for more than 20 guests. First, they wanted to charge for the priviledge of bringing a cake, then they wanted to me to "secure" the reservation with a credit card, finally they wouldn't split the checks for the individuals in the party. Quite a mess!
The food was average. Not as much selection as their Churrascaria competitors in Dallas. Based on the service and value for the cost, I would suggest avoiding this restaurant in lieu of one the other local competitors.
A carnivore's haven where fire-grilled meats reigns supreme at this elegant all-you-can-eat Brazilian churrascaria in North Dallas. – In Short
Gauchos (Brazilian cowboys) circulate throughout the churrascaria with giant skewers of various cuts of meats; sixteen varieties including spicy Picanha (house specialty), filet mignon, pork loin, and lamb chops are sliced and served tableside. Diners indicate whether they desire more or need a pause by flipping their "rodizio disk" to green or red. Sample traditional Brazilian and American favorites at the dessert buffet (additional $5.95): flan, wine-soaked pears and passionfruit mousse with chocolate.
