Industria Argentina = Authentic Argentinean Food – Ate here for lunch today. I had the Traditional Lomito which is the sliced filet mignon on ciabatta with Chimichurri, tomato and onion. It came with fries and a green salad for 12 bucks. What a bargain!!! This sandwich has so much flavor packed inside...try it out and let me know what you think.

Amazing Argentinian Food!!! – I found this place 3 or 4 months ago and I've been back several times since. If you are with a small group I highly recommend the empanadas. For main course I am a really big fan of the Cordero Patagonico - patagonian-style rack of lamb. It's always cooked to perfection. Good people work here and the space is very nice and authentic. Can't wait to go back.

Overpriced - not worth it. – Industria Argentina is very pricey for food and drinks that are not that great. The restaurant week menu was different that as advertised on their website - and the food was not worth the prices. The lentil soup with chorizo is tasty but a little over seasoned. The filet mignon milanesa just tastes like butter.

Bad food, overpriced – I thought it was just the watery butternut squash soup. But then the tuna came, then the steaks- all which were not just poorly done, they were bad cuts of meat. We had our Argentinian friend meet us for a drink who filled us in, obviously we had not gotten the memo that is is known as having awful food. Including a really bad interpretation of Argentine Dulce de Leche. The owner / manager could not have been nicer and accommodating, it's a real shame.. It was a big let down to pay such a high price for such low quality food. We are neighbors and will never return.

Great Lunch / Ok Service – The lunch here is perfect if you are a college student with a budget. I have been here a few times mainly for lunch and fell in love with the Salmon served with Mango!!! Very tasty.

The decor very elegant, love the leather chairs super comfortable.

Service needs to be refined and the owners need not to be so pretentious, when guests are entering their restaurant.

BAD SERVICE/ BAD MEAT – I went w/ my husband and a couple for my birthday. We had reservations but had to wait at the bar for about 20 minutes. The meat was not good- very tough. The restaurant is very pretty but the service was horrible. The waiter seemed to be "high"!!We spent around $300 and would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. I'm argentinean and my friends and husband are American, they were not impressed. My husband and I have traveled to Argentina and he knows what good Argentinean food is. Very disappointing-

Best Meat in NYC! – I'm from Argentina and live in NYC, I know all the Argentinean Restaurants and they are all quite good, but IA is the best. Not only the food is great, but the decoration is very nice, and reflects better than any other our good taste not only for food but for everything related to life quality.

I recommend, if is your first time the "Parrillada" for two.

With that you're trying a sample of everything and is very very well done.

The mashed potatoes are the BEST! and the only thing I would put a little energy if I were the owners, is to make a little better the organization of the waiters. Is not bad, but it can be perfect! and You deserve it to be perfect.!!

Bad service – I want to this restaurant twice, the first time the food was ok, great mash potato.

What I found disturbing is that they have a big black french poodle dog inside the restaurant.

The second time time I went there I was waiting for my boyfriend and I ordered two skirt steaks, because we were on a rush. When the food got there only my food arrived, the waiter said that he only brout my food because he thought I wanted mine first. So my boyfriend ended up waiting for his food for around 15 more minutes.

When the server was in another table he starting scratching his butt, which was disgusting.

And the worst was that we saw again the huge dog inside the restaurant, I think they keep him in the basement.

Never going back

A great find on Greenwich Street – Six of us made a last minute reservation in the morning for Saturday night. There is limited outdoor seating, which is nice on a summer evening. BUT... I suggest you sit inside because the ambience is a wonderful touch to the whole experience.

The restaurant was very dimly lit but carefully placed lighting around the space made it feel just right. Our waitress was always smiling and recommended some traditional dishes for us to try (because it was our visit). The octopus appetizer was delicious and not chewy (as octopus often is). The empenadas are a traditional dish, which were also very yummy.

The fish, short ribs and rib-eye were all absolutely mouth watering.

I recommend this place... a bit pricey though.

Worst lunch ever! – I live nearby and had wondered about this place for a while. I met up with a friend for lunch and since it didn't look too busy we decided to try it out. BIG MISTAKE! We ordered cokes and water since none was given to us when we sat down. We got the cokes but were not served water until the meal was almost over. Also, everyone else was served a basket of bread. Not us! We just sat there for a lot longer than it should have taken to make the sandwiches we were served. We both ordered the same thing. Filet Mignon sandwiches. What we got was a tough skirt steak sandwich. The fries were pretty good.
