Great Live Music Venue. This is a club that appreciates live music, musicians and knows how to treat their patrons. The staff i and owners are friendly . If you want to hear great live music, this is the place to go on the NW side. The drinks are affordable and are not weak.
Local couple brings their love of blues to the north side to the benefit of music fans everywhere..
In Short
From the outside, this two story brick building wouldn't appear to house some of the best live music in Houston, but this cozy and casual venue doesn't miss a beat when serving up live music and cocktails five days a week. When bands aren't performing, enjoy a game of pool or the company of the local crowd comprised of thirty-something professionals and fanatic blues junkies.
Best Blues Club in Houston. These days, it seems there is no hope for the blues, given all the major blues venues have closed in Houston. We went to the Howling Coyote on several occasions to see such bands as Steve Krase, Matt Leddy, Uncle Mojo and several other, and this place was awsome. Not smoked-filled like most venues. The bands were all great. The staff are fantastic. The place is big, with a great sound system and stage. I have to say, that I think this is new blues capital of Houston.
THE BEST PLACE ON THE NORTHSIDE!!!!. We went there for the first time last Saturday night to see the Fab5, and I cannot wait to go back! The atmophere and the crowd was awesome. Stage and the dance floor were larger than most. The bartenders and staff were friendly and very attentive. A rare find on the northside!!!!!
