Rice-r-Roni. Is it possible that the Jambalaya they served was made from Rice-R-Roni?? I highly suspect that it was.
Great food, service and ambiance... A gem in Hollywood....
What a great place. The owner served us and catered to our every whim. The food was delicious and the presentation was gorgeous.
Can't wait to go back!
A gem - gourmet cuisine, really reasonable prices!. Five of us visited on a Saturday night after reading a raving review in the local newspaper. The crabcake special was huge and filled with crab, the tuna tartare and shrimp creole were both delightfully seasoned. Everyone in our party had fish but one (he had the chicken and practically licked the plate).... the fish entrees were yummy. The mahi-mahi was fresh and prepared with a light mojo sauce and the redfish special was prepared ala new orleans style w/jambalya. Between us, we had four different appetizers, three different entress, and three different desserts. There wasn't a loser in the bunch. We also can't wait to return and try other specials and menu items we missed this time around. Go, you will be more than pleasantly surprised! And best of all, the prices were very reasonable.
Almost Addictive. Great ambinace cozy and the chef knows what he is doing. Finally nice to see great food in Hollywood
The Best food in town. The boulevard dining experience was amazing. The food was fabulous as well as affordable. Everything we tried on the menu became my new favorite and I left dreaming about the food. The beer and wine selection was very unique. I would highly recommend this restruant.
Don't miss this great place. Excellent dinner at downtown Hollywood, very close to Young Circle.
Cuban-American brothers serve up an intimate, yet casual downtown bistro featuring Floribbean, Asian and southwestern cuisine..
In Short
Leaving pretentious fine dining behind, Jorge and Jean-Paul Varona are creating a new kind of neighborhood restaurant in burgeoning downtown Hollywood. The focus here is good food in an atmosphere so intimate that the dining area holds only seven wooden tables (though an outdoor bar and al fresco dining allow for more volume). The eclectic and far-flung menu features everything from Bayou shrimp and tuna tartar to guava salmon with Caribbean root ragout.
