worst massage I've ever had, cold atmosphere – I was given a gift certificate for a deep tissue massage and looked forward to experiencing this talked about day spa. My first impression was cold and hard atmosphere. The locker room was weird and uncomfortable.. very small area to change wheich is hard when there are 2-3 people trying to get dressed/undressed and lockers were difficult to use. I have had many massages over the years and this was the worst I've ever had. The therapist was very nice but she wasted time and put very little effort in her massage. It was very disappointed.

this may help... – In response to not being able to find your stylist or whomever else from the salon/spa who you cant find, you may be able to find tham at wheresmystylist( dot com). Then look up who you need, hope this helps people!

Best and most beautiful spa experience in town, bar none! – I'm a pamper/massage craver who's tried out most of the biggest and best spas in town, but I always end up coming back to Escape. It's THAT amazing---whoever actually wrote below that this place is 'pretentious' or loudly into promoting celeb clientele must be on some hardcore substances, because I can attest as a regular customer there that Escape has always treated myself and other patrons there with equal attention and respect, not to mention very friendly and courteous service to boot. Going to Escape is always a wonderful and relaxing event, and every person I've brought there with me agrees as well!

This place is as state of the art and efficient as some of LA and NYC's finest spas to boot---not only is the decor and design beautifully feng shui((best relaxation room in town; enjoy the starry ceiling and fountain while lying atop a mod couch as you sip away at sweet water and complimentary wine)), but the staff is always extremely friendly and knowledgable about products and procedures. They're obviously happy to be there, and it shows.

If there's one service there I especially recommend, it would be their duo massage...it bl0ws the one at Adagio spa out of the water! Literally, considering my boyfriend and I enjoyed this service there twice in its gorgeously lit main room with a tub bubbling in the middle that you both soak in after your massages...just a heavenly way to end what I assure anyone will be a heavenly spa visit...

If you're looking for simple spa treatments, go elsewhere---if you're looking for the ultimate spa experience, go to Escape. And then do yourself a favor and have some feel-good wine tastings at The Grape next door!

In good taste – About me: 30 something, professional, realist, usually do not 'indulge' myself at spas very often, in fact not at all.

I had to go to Escape without appointment because other salon, Illusion, messed up my appointment (should I say desk staff have totally careless attitude)

Regina at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Martha-Marie did my waxing treatment and Nikki did my manicure/pedicure. They were very friendly, professional and I did not see any 'attitude' at all.

To the comments below regarding celebrities. Let's face it A listers have a chance to see the best and they know the best. We are not talking about being celebrity struck here (I am not at all) but I like to know that I can indulge myself at one of the best spas in Nashville. And I was treated just as well as if I would be a celebrity! Nobody looked down on me because I was not Mrs. X. As long as all reasonable clients treated with professionalism and respect, I see no harm mentioning celebrity names. Think how you would be if you would be a salon owner.

Thank you ladies for making me feel rejuvenated!

Escape Day Spa and Salon, Wonderful place to relax – Escape Day Spa was wonderful!! I went with 6 other friends for an all day treatment. We were treated wonderful. We were given time to relax with each other and just be girls. We had a wonderful lunch in a room just to ourselves. I would recommend this place to anyone and we girls are going back again for an all day treatment in just 2 weeks and I can't wait!!!!

Fantastic treatment – I can only think that the negative comments regarding this spa are coming from the competition. I've been to Escape twice now, and both times I was treated like a queen. I never heard any other clients being discussed, and never a loud voice in the place. Please don't be turned away by jealous competitors. Come in and see for yourself. You will be in for a treat!

This tranquil spa lives up to its name with charming decor, friendly service and an inviting relaxation room. – In Short
Visitors enter through the upstairs salon, an airy space with white paper lamps, polished cement floor and small stones that line the wall. The lower spa level maintains that serene atmosphere, but adds exotic touches like a cascading water wall, aromatic candles and a relaxation room showcasing a ceiling of twinkling lights. Locals from the upscale neighborhood enjoy specialties such as a chardonnay sugar scrub and an anti-oxidant bubble soak in the hydrotherapy tub.

What an incredible facial! – I visited this spa last week and had the best facial I've ever had and I'm an aesthetician!

Lilly was fantastic! So very through and professional I was simply amazed! I live in Destin, Florida where I think the best spas are, but Escape spa can't be beat!

Thank you...I can't wait to return!

WHO CARES?? – Although this place IS very, very lovely, I've always been taught that beauty's only skin deep. This place is very superficial. Who cares that Nicole Kidman is a client? When I go to a spa, I go for me. I don't care who else is there, and when I went, the staff MORE than insinuated that she's a client. Well, she probably lives out there. If she lived on Hillsboro Road she'd probably go somewhere out there. My massage was good, not the best, but good. But I will NEVER go back. I've been to spas all across this country, and one thing I've learned is the staff is best when they're not bragging. These people should know how to behave in a more tasteful way, before Ms. Kidman is one of only a few clients they'll have left.
