Awesome – Glad I found this little spot and now you can too. The food is great. The ackee and saltfish is the best I've had. Always good service whenever I stop in and every stop makes me crave for more.
Friendly Jamaican BYOB in Ashburn serves up fresh Caribbean fare to the beat of reggae and calypso drums. – In Short
The space may be small--there are only six tables--but the flavors and portions are big at this cheery restaurant that brings the spices of Jamaica to Chicago. Fresh fish can be cooked-to-order in any number of Caribbean preparations; the grilled jerk is a house specialty. Another popular dish is ackee (a Jamaican fruit) and salt cod, presented with rice, salad, a slice of plantain and Jamaican bread.
