This place is pleasant people friendly. My friends and I put down a lot of drinks which means we spend a lot of cash and left pretty nice tips. The music and dance was good, My friends and I were having fun until...one negative bar attendant in particular (Mark) The young man is very rude and needs improve with customer service manners. He came from behind the bar to have an altercation with one of my friends. The bouncer escorted all 5 of us out of the bar. As a result I left behind my scarf, hat and gloves and my money.
Bring your friends! – I loved the place, its a mix of all, love the way the owners express their diverse individuality through the decor and the environment. This is a place where you bring your friends to start off the evening and you end up staying the whole night(getting really drunk) I love the vibe. you should just relax and become one with the surrounding. This was one place where i didn't feel nervous when i entered. Most fun i had in a long time.
Bartenders will rip you off – Lackluster drink and bartender ripped me off $10. Reminds me why I had stopped going to gay bars, and regretted having tried this place. There are better and more honest places in New York.
Hot Eastern Bloc vibe! – This place has a really cool vibe, it's super small but a fun place to get a drink and watch a go go boy.
good night LOL – i like this place because you can find a lot people nice and friendly, depend that what would you like to do!! LOL
Gay boys paint the town red at this Soviet-style dive. – The Cold War provides a steamy design template for this East Village spot, hung with kitschy Communist portraits, propaganda, red lights galore and other remnants of the Iron Curtain. Mix that together with the rotating porn displayed on video screens, random taxidermy (think zebra heads and boars), plus slick bronze poles for go-go dancers, and you've got the gay bar equivalent of a Molotov cocktail.
hotttt! – I love this new place. The east village really needed this. Sexy but not gross. Frisky boys, good music. Definately worth a visit.
very cool new bar – great new bar in the east village. everytime i go there is always great music and a cool downtown crowd.
