Great Pho, Pricey for pho... – The food is good, but pho is pho, most is good(there are a few exceptions)... I have only been 2 places that managed to really screw it up. Pho is cheap, this place in not pricey, but compared to others of equal quality food, its a bit more spendy (still cheap). The atmosphere is great here and makes up for the price difference. Some of the best pho places I have been to, look run down so not ideal for dates. The service here is good. I may come back but probably unless I need the nicer atmosphere would head somewhere else. No complaints though. Nice relaxed date atmosphere also.
Simple Pho Done Wrong – My steak was way too overcooked! not even chewable. They brought me the wrong size dish and brought ou the wrong appetizer order. I will not be going there again. It was VERY dissapointing.
Delicious Pho!! – i know good pho...my mom makes it, but as a sub, Pho Cyclo can definitely compete with hers. i love it there...been many countless times & the service is outstanding...along with the food.
Absolutely, hands down, the best pho in town. – I know. I know it is. I've had pho all over Seattle, and let me tell you, Pho Cyclo is the best place for Pho. (They have tasty Vietnamese sandwhiches too, that are inexpensive and clean-eatin' if you're on the road.)
The broth is phenomenal, it has a complex, subtle, and beautifully matched combination of spices.
The fixins (fresh basil, bean sprouts, onions, chili paste, fresh lime and something I want to call plum sauce- though I know it isn't ) aren't even necessary, but they offer adventurous alterations to the soup that make the meal that much more interesting. Fantastic place. Quick service, good food, great prices.
I would have to say, it is my absolute favorite place to eat in Seattle.
Simply the best Pho – I crave Pho Cyclo. I live in San Diego now, but when I lived here before, I ate here three times a week. Now it is my mandatory stop after pick up from the airport, at least once during my visit, and on the way back to the airport so I can savor the essence of the best Pho anywhere. The broth alone makes the difference; filled with beautiful savory spices and fragrant herbs rather than just the standard chicken broth, and tasty condiments to add that I've never seen elsewhere. The atmosphere transports you to a Vietnamese streetside cafe with it's murals and the service has always been friendly. Oh, how I wish you would come to San Diego, Pho Cyclo!
Best Pho in Seattle! – There are a lot of generic pho restaurants in Seattle, but Pho Cyclo takes it up a notch. The broth has added spices and the fixings come with additional options including onions and sweet chili sauce. If pho is not your thing, then try the spring rolls and one of their noodle dishes. You will not be disappointed. At lunch time during the week it can get really crowded with Starbucks employees so make sure you are there by 11:30.

Workers from Starbucks headquarters across the street fill this bright room at lunch, taking in the authentic cyclo front-and-center and the life-size street-scene murals covering the walls. Colorful lanterns hanging from the ceiling and a thatched-roof kitchen enclave complete the alfresco atmosphere. The menu includes a long list of pho choices and a healthy assortment of rice, noodle and stir-fry dishes paired with grilled meat, shrimp and tofu.
The service is poor at best... – There are pho restaurants all over this city... choose one that is at least a little accomodating. I specifically requested "No Onions" and when my bowl of noodles arrived literally covered in green onion, I had to mention to the waiter my earlier request. All he did was look at me hurriedly (they were not busy, btw- I was one of maybe four customers), look into my bowl, and then say to me "There are no white onions! Green onion is not onion!". Okay... doesn't the name green onion by definition make it an onion?! I paid for my food and I left because at that point arguing seemed pretty useless and frustrating. The pho isn't all THAT great.
