For us to have to go back there and tell them multiple times to help out, for people to not know there was soda to drink during dinner, and plates having to be cleaned up by my family members after the whole reception we could have done all that on our own and not paid to rely on a company to do it for us and it not be done. For me to have to call the next day after my wedding should really mean something in the aspect of the service. As much as we emailed I would have figured everything would have been perfect. It was extremely far from that based upon comments made by others. They had taken the bouquets from bridesmaids and myself off the table and trashed them (thinking they were trash)? I keep hearing something more and more everyday and for me to sit at the head table and see them straight in the kitchen standing around folding their arms. I would NEVER work like that for a company doing a wedding. I honestly didn't ask for much and maybe that's why we didn't get much? I don't think it's fair at all for the amount of money we paid to have the horrible service that we did. Thanks

It's unfortunate that there's no mention of our extensive post event follow up with the client or the fact, that while we don't agree with these accusations, a refund was given.
Referrals are our lifeblood as well as the #1 reason why our business has doubled each year of our six years of business. With that track record, it's hard to understand how The Invisible Hostess would be in business if my team behaved the way Stephanie is reporting. We strongly deny these accusations. We did learn some things from this experience and have updated policies to assure clients of a successful event. If you want to hear specifics or talk further about it, I would be happy to share our side of the story.
The Invisible Hostess staffed 150 weddings in 2011 alone, and we could provide ample happy client testimonies to how our team performed on site. It's too bad all you get to see is this one scathing review.
Great Idea. This is a great service. Save your sanity and hire them. The pair that worked my party buzzed about and made things happen with a minimal amount of direction. Yet they were very good about asking and not assuming what we wanted. They take the stress out of being a host or hostess.
Editorial Review. Party setup assistant service on an hourly or full-day scale--she helps with housework, errands, decor and kitchen assistance.
