Excellent – My husband and I love eating at Mioposto Café. We’re can’t say enough about their delicious gourmet pizza’s! You won’t be disappointed by their menu. The pizza’s are thin crust and the menu offers very creative combinations and toppings. You never feel icky and stuffed after you eat there. The pizza’s are light and scrumptious. Try the Pizza Ensalata! It’s a salad on top of pizza crust. Absolutely delicious. The pizza’s are not huge and the crust is thin…keep that in mind when you’re ordering.
Absolutely the best pizza in all of Seattle – Mioposto is the absolutely most delicious thin crust pizza. My favorite is the "Fungla", a vegetarian pizza, mushrooms, red peppers, delicious savory spices, the prefect amount of melted cheese and the most wonderful salad. My favorite: it has roasted chicken, salami, goat cheese, artichoke hearts, fragrant mouth watering dressing on chopped romaine leaves. Granting the beet salad was wonderful too. Amazing dinners, lunches, tasty breakfasts and the yummiest cake donuts. Great expresso-when I am hungry I always know that Mioposto has fabulous pizzas waiting. Comfort food. Salute. The wait staff always has time to talk-it so very nice.
My favortie pizza joint in Seattle – This is my "must bring out of town guests to" restaurant and they always enjoy and rave about it. In fact, many want to return a second time during their visit. The pizza is delicious and the salads are fantastic. I've always found the wait staff and, if you sit at the bar, the cooks very friendly. They aren't the most talkative, but everytime I've been there they have been very busy, which probably accounts for the lack of conversation. I also really enjoy the simplicity of the decor and intimate feeling of a small restaurant. It's just the right size for the menu.
Great Pizza, Poor Service – Love their pizza, especially the mushroom pizza. Also love their caeser salad. Prefer to order it and pick it up though because I don't like the servers, one young woman in particular. She doesn't make you feel welcome and treats you like an annoyance. But she is very friendly with certain people, making it even more annoying. Management should really take notice and train their waitstaff and teach them some proper manners. Many people talk about the great pizza and poor service, so it can't just be the rantings of a few dissatisfied customers. It's a great little place with tons of potential to be a neighborhood joint if the service weren't so impersonal and corporate-like.
Poor customer service/poor pizza. – As with most restaurants in Seattle, Mioposto's service was bad and the food was overpriced. I know many people have their favorite types of pizza and pizza places, but Mioposto's pizza lacks quality and good taste. To be honest, I've had better frozen pizza. I'm not kidding. The only positive thing about Mioposto is the nice location.
Open & Cool Place with the Best Pizza and Coffee – Mioposto has a very creative & delicious pizza menu. The coffe is very good, too. Great open and friendly ambience. This place is charming and relaxing. The servers behind the counter are always friendly and helpful. It reminds me of those great little restaurants in San Francisco. It's a great place to enjoy food and meet friends.
Beautiful setting, good pizza but routinely poor service – Mioposto is a beautifully restaurant in one of Seattle most understated neighborhoods, Mt. Baker. I take off my hat to Chow Foods for investing in my neighborhood and renovating the old Rose Club Café. Great job!
However, the service is consistently overly edgy and genuinely poor. Food preparation is good for what it is but the servers don't seem to give a hoot about anybody but themselves or their immediate peer group. I've been there at least 6 times and every time I am amazed how poorly I've been treated regardless of who is taking my order.
Chow Foods, I read a story about your company a year or so ago and I know you offer great benefits for your staff. I beg you to train your staff in the basics of restaurant service. I know, Misoposto is a small pizza joint but a simple smile when placing an order is nice. Silverware and a glass of water is even better. My beer before food arrives, generally a good idea. Correct bills are the best. Not losing my credit card and when you do, bothering to look for it or showing concern would be big of you.
It would be so easy for me and my wife to $pend my money at Misoposto since it is so close but we afraid that we won't enjoy my meal because of the service. We feel like on the Ave or Broadway not a beautiful park like setting in one of the finest neighborhoods in the city.
Should have gone to Trader Joe's and had frozen pizza :( – My family went on a midweek evening to have dinner. The restaurant was 80 % full and there was a sign posted "wait to be seated." Well I guess it's hard to be seated when one is invisible to the staff. We stood there for 10 minutes while employees walked back and forth ignoring us. Finally, my wife stood face to face in front of one of the staff and she asked, "Are you waiting for a table?" Once seated it took about 30 minutes to finally get the meal. The prior reviews said Kid friendly... give me a break with two young children that is light years. The Caesar salad I ordered had so much lemon I couldn't eat it. The pizza was slightly reminescent of Baker's Beach pizza which occupied the the space years ago (a distant second). It was decent but nothing exceptional. This establishment is consistent with my feelings of the rest of Chow Foods group. We used to frequent most of their restaurants but over the years each one has really been disapointing. I'm a born and bred Southend resident and was excited to hear of this restaurant opening. Well, I guess maybe it might be beneficial for the management to pay a visit to Tutta Bella in Columbia City for some tips.
Fabulous Italian Food! – I highly recommend Mioposto. I am so happy to have a wonderful Italian restaurant in my neighborhood. The wine list is wonderful and the food reminds me of my recent trip to Italy.
Rich tones and great pizza – We are so glad Mioposto has taken over this restaurant spot. We've seen so many come and go over the past two years, and this one seems like a perfect fit. The pizza is thin crust, and the toppings are so delicious! - Some unexpected (potato) and others expected (margharita). The servers were very attentive, and very patient when we couldnt' make up our mind on what yummy pizzas to actually pick. The wines and beers are good, and the desserts looked awesome. We have to go back and somehow save room for that sweet course next time!
It is a little small, but the decor is very warm and comfortable. We love this new neighborhood spot!
