Some good stuff but generally underspiced – We started with appetizers: tasty, light, tender, ample, and ungreasy squid with somewhat plain warm tomato and yogurt dipping sauces, a taramasalata that was a tad too salty and dense, hummus that was verging on bland, nicely smokey eggplant salad, and stuffed vine leaves with a crumbly rice filling.
The lentil soup was an exception in that it had a complexity of flavor that no other dish did.
We shared a combo platter of chicken kabob -- tender, though overly, plain breast meat -- lamb kabob -- moist and tender -- and gyro -- pleasantly spiced -- over rice and peas.
The free house wine was remarkably drinkable.
The place is dimly lit; I've walked by in the evening and it looks gloomy. The vinyl tablecloths bring down the feel of the place. The service was pleasant and attentive.
