From a duo of local Occidental grads Bryce Rademan and Robert Wicklund, they bring street food to a whole new level with their "Best of Citysearch" doner kebobs, street cart fries and delicious sangria's. Make sure you get your doner with the works & be sure to save room for their refreshing white peach sangria!

With a European cafe vibe, L.A.'s stylish home of the doner kebab packs in Eagle Rock locals. – In Short
A longtime European street-food sensation, the Turkish-born doner kebab has been introduced to the Eastside at this little hipster joint near Occidental college. An airy room pops in sage, ochre and purple tones, and there's a sweet front patio with flowers and umbrellas. Behind a glass counter, minced lamb, beef and chicken slow-roast on custom vertical broilers percolating their juices and 12 spices. Paper thin strips are shaved off and stuffed into panini-toasted foccacia with veggies and tzatziki sauce.

just what you need – I love it! It's just the right kind of food you need for the summer, just fresh and I can't get enough of the sweet potato fries! It leaves you satisfied. The only bad thing is the parking ,......it's so small. You have to park on the street and sometimes that street is so packed. I ended up at the sizzler's once.

Amazing food – Simply sensational. The young people who prepare you order them are amused, you must prove the menu.

Soooo tasty! – Yesterday I was looking on Citysearch for a new lunch place to try and read these reviews about Spitz. It sounded tasty so I decided to try it out. The best way to sum up my experience is to say that I am going back there for lunch again today! I had the Classic sandwich with a side of pita strips. Both were absolutely amazing, and for all that plus a drink I spent less than $10! The sandwich has so much flavor! The pita strips are served warm, slightly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, and lightly salted. The hummus that you dip them in is delicious as well. As soon as I left Spitz I called my sister to tell her she has to try it! There are only 2 parking spots plus a handicap spot so expect to park on the street. The service is very fast and the patio is pleasant. After only one visit they've made a loyal customer out of me!

Get the classic with sweet potato fries – Spitz is delicious. Good for a quick lunch or dinner. Definitely get the sweet potato fries...if you don't you will bummed or just another reason to go back. The food is fresh, simple, straight forward and no nonsense. There only a few items on the menu for good reason, they do them all well. Employees there are pleasant and laidback. They get your order right with a smile. Not that fake ronald smile either...I have to have the gelato...but i hear its good; I never have room. The classic is lip smackin good, you'll want to eat it slowly so it doesn't end. The lavosh holds all the ingredients in the sandwich so you can enjoy every morsel of goodness.

boner for a doner – Great sweet badata fries. I went there last week w/ a friend, but I had already eaten lunch so I wasn't very hungry, still I couldn't resist some fries and a bite of a doner...good stuff...I'll be back for the full meal deal...

I love this place! – Spitz is an amazing restaurant! I come here once a week for their healthy but flavorful doner kebabs and salads. Their gelato is also scrumptious...it is very thick and creamy. I really cannot think of a better place to get an $8.50 meal. What a deal!
