It's hip to dip at this cozy fondue-lover's paradise..
In Short
Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies and cheesecake.

overprized, and no taste..
I would NOT recommend M.P. in NOVI. The prices were very high, and the food and no unique flavor....every thing just tasted the same....like chicken or something I cannt explain. Waste of time, slow. You will leave hungery and need to spend another 5$ on fast food, maybe go to BIg Boys next door. I would pick Big Boys over M.P. anyday of the week!

Cozy spot...
I love this restaurant.....This was my first visit, I treated my friend for his birthday and we both really enjoyed ourselves. The seating area is nice and cozy and the booths are private
very romantic. We were there for three hours which was highly worth it because we enjoy each others company. We had a great time preparing our own entree, we really had a great time the food was really good. Because it was his birthday I was able to purchase balloons with a chocolate bar and we got a picture taken that was a great idea. I will be visiting this restaurant again in the future besides all this the service was also great.

Stink Stank Stunk.
Very high priced - very slow- food quality mediocre at best. The entree cooks very slow and everything tastes the same Chicken Shrimp Steak can't tell the difference. Don't waste your time or money.

It is romantic but I just didn't like the food.
Maybe I am too picky but I didnt like how the food tasted after I fried it in the oil. We tried the original flavor oil becuase the other ones looked as though you just boiled the items in flavored broth. The cheese fondue was good, it was a little overwhelming but good. The meat and fish part with the oil was not to my liking and I wouldnt have it again. I really looked forward to it but I just didnt like it. I wished I would have tried the chocolate but it wasnt meant to be. The service was great and the ambiance was romantic, I just didnt like the food.

Unique dining experience, excellent customer service.
Atmosphere/Ambience: Tastefully decorated and appropriate for romantic dinner for two, special occassions, or just a night out on the town. Very cozy and romantic.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service. Service was prompt and courteous. This is the first time I have ever had a manager personally stop by my table and ask how my experience was.
Food: Awesome. This place really has something for everyone. This restaurant offers the most extensive wine list I've seen. There are several different choices for all courses. The main course was truly a unique experience (I won't spoil it by telling you how it's all cooked here). I do recommend checking out the menu before deciding to dine here- just so you have an idea of what you'd like before you get there. There are so many choices, it could be overwhelming. If you order the full four-courses, you must decide what cheese course, which salad, what entree platter, in what you'd like your entree cooked, what sauces you'd like to dip your food into, and finally (the best choice of all!) what chocolate you'd like for your fourth course. Both the cheese and chocolate courses come with several dipping options.
Drinks: Excellent specialty drink choices, but not much beer. I had the Ying-Yang which was very tasty.
Reservations: We had read the editor's review prior to trying out this restaurant and followed the advice regarding the two weeks' reservations. This is no longer applicable- reservations are not required. We did make reservations, but at 6:00pm on a Monday, plenty of seating was available. However, by the time we left at 8:00pm, all seats were full and several were waiting.
** This restaurant does take a bit longer than a regular dining experience if you order the four courses. Unrushed, our dinner lasted 2-2.5 hours. The quality of ingredients, unique experience and excellent customer service made this restaurant well worth the expense. We left with full tummies and big smiles!

Everything was Amazing !.
The MeltingPot has officially been put into our rotation of "special occasion restaurants". The service was wonderful and the food even better. I really like the way the menu is set up; there are so many options. There is something for everyone, whether you just want dessert or are hungry enough for all four courses. All I have to say is I loved it!
