This is not a place to come if you are on a diet (the menu includes "Irish Nachos" - fries with beer sauce). But if you're hungry for pub food, it's the spot - & on Wed/Sun, enjoy it with a side of live Americana music.

The pies are delicious! – I've tried every pie on their menu and frequently get the daily special pie and I haven't had one that I didn't like! And the portion sizes are NOT small, the pies looks small but they are very filling, and you can get a side to go with like mac n cheese or mashed potatoes and those are big portions. Definitely a heart attack waiting to happen, but it's worth it!

Better Than Pub Grub – Meat pies, mashed potatoes, a side of mac ‘n’ cheese, and a pint of craft brew—probably not the healthiest fare, but some of the best. But, “everything in moderation,” right? So, head to Pies & Pints where you choose among a generous selection of savory pies, extra toppings, and side dishes. It’s better than comfort food, it’s great comfort food; Pies & Pints uses the freshest ingredients possible, often buying local. The restaurant is kid-friendly, the bar—complete with pool table—is cozy, the atmosphere is casual and fun, and the location is perfect in this quintessential Seattle neighborhood.

Great atmosphere, but small portions – Great atmosphere, local pub feeling, great beer selection. They had three new beers rotating in each month. Beers for about $4 and good happy hour deals, also daily specials on drinks. Menu was a little slim for food, but the pies were really good. The only complaint I would have about this place is that the pies are really small for $6.50. They were probably only about 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches of that was the crust. I would go there again for late night happy hour and to hang out, but not for dinner, too small of portions.

Cozy food for rainy days – I had heard about Pies and Pints from friends and went in on a rainy saturday night. What a treat. The crust on the pies is buttery and flakey. The pies seem smallish to the eye, but they really fill you up.

The atmosphere is very 'neighborhoody'. It was a great place to get comfort food.

The only complaint is that though from the outside it seems like a pub, it is a restaurant so you can expect to see families with kids. While we were there there was a family with a screaming child. I hope that is an exception rather than the norm.

Editorial Review – Austrailian-style handmade meaty and vegetarian pies pair with a nine-beer tap selection at this Roosevelt pub.

Great atmosphere, taps, and menu – The menu isn't super extensive but within its niche, Pies & Pints is great. A good, refreshing variety of options that goes past typical pub fare: pick a pie, pretzel, one of the soups, the awesome fries, or some combo depending on how hungry you are. As a vegetarian, I usually get the spinach and feta or the mediterranean pie. The service in the restaurant and the bar at back has always been super nice and the atmosphere is lively but relaxed. A free pool table, music, and pretty good rotating art on the walls make this one of my favorite places to kick back. They have a solid tap selection and rotate one or two seasonal beers. Smoke free before the ban, too (which tells you a lot about it depending on the kind of bar you're after).
