A Brooklynite's new reason to visit Queens. – As a Brooklynite, I came here with a friend visiting from Chicago, and I fell in love with the place!
The bouncers were down to earth.
The people seemed like they went there to dance and not just look pretty.
The women are gorgeous! Mostly Latina, with a sprinkling of Black and Asian.
Great mix of music from modern to old school New Jack Swing.
I'm definitely going back.
wanna chill close 2 home – The Zone is a great place to come and chill grab a few drinks and eat!!! If you wanna sing check out Karaoke wing night on wednesday with happy hour all night long and 25 cent wings!!!! If your weekend starts early like on Thursday they have open bar $20 bucks with cool jams from DJ Silas and friday and sat. are straight up fun to get your groove on, they even have a free afterwork buffet friday afternoon with live music. Its a fun place to chill and the staff is awesome!!!!!!
I Love It – I don't get it. You are warned the place is not good yet you still try it. You have a bad experience of which you do not go into detail about but expect everyone to respect your review. Sounds to me like you got thrown out for a good reason and are being petty.
I have been to The Zone many times. The Bouncers are great as long as you are not looking for trouble. I felt safe in The Zone. I have never witnessed them being rude.
The food is great.
The owners are friendly.
The prices are reasonable.
Try it for yourself. jI tried The Zone because I heard "Good things," about it. The stories were true!
Very Rude and Stupid Head Bouncer – This place is terrible and the head bouncer is extremely stupid and rude. Not sure about during the day, but at night it tries to be a Latin club with cowardly bouncers who try to act tough. I had heard it was terrible, but didn't really know how bad it was till I went there a few weeks ago.
The New Chef ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! – The Zone has hired a new chef and I am told they are changing the menu. I went there the other day and the Chef came out with some food that he is testing for the new menu, and he asked me to try it. He had these little steak bites and made three different types of french fries to try out. He asked us which of the fries we like best. Truthful they were all kickass. I am looking forward to see what he has coming up in the future.
Euphoria – The zone is a good place to party..iv been there a few times in different night and its always good.. the bouncers are friendly, (hard to find these days).,. on Thursdays they have open bar $20 .. Friday and Saturday gets packed with a good diverse crowed and good music.... my only complain is parking on the weekends.. other then thats,,i would recommend this place to anyone who simply wants to have a good time.
GREAT PLACE TO PARTY – GREAT AFTER WORK PARTY FRIDAYS AND A GREAT NIGHTLIFE ON THE WEEKEND. SPORTS BAR BY DAY AND CLUB/LOUNGE BY NIGHT. THERE IS A DRESS CODE ON THE WEEKEND, NO HATS, SNEAKERS OR ATHLETIC WEAR. TRUST MT YOU WONT MIND GETTING DRESSED UP FOR THIS PLACE. IF YOU WEAR A METS JERSEY THEY MIGHT LET YOU SLIDE, LOL.
Avoid this place ! – Explain to me how i go to this place regularly on saturday nights right? And this one time i go on a sat night because i was meeting some friends there . They tell me oHH sorry you cant come in with timberland boots? Meanwhile they have people in there with sneakers on wearing hang out clothes like they just came back from playing basketball. I totally do not recommend this place. Then on top of that my friend was wearing a yankees jersey and they told him that he couldnt wear it inside. Meanwhile this is a sports bar lol ? what a joke a sports bar that doesnt let you wear a sports jersey lol . i will never be going there again.
The Coolest Owners!!! Lots of Fun!!! – I LOVE this place!!! The owners are really cool and everytime I go there they make me feel right at home. I've been there on Fridays and Saturdays and the music and dancing is excellent!!! They play anything from Hip Hop to Old School to Spanish music...The crowd is definitely cool...Mixed crowd in their 20s and 30s...The kitchen is open until like 2 am and the food is delicious!!! I've also been there on Wednesday nights, which is Karoake night...It's soooo much fun...the people singing are usually very entertaining and there's no pressure to join in if you don't want to...The owners are not afraid to grab the mic and join in on the fun, which is great!!! Again, I LOVE this place!!!
Editorial Review – Sports bar and restaurant serves Dominican-American specialties like fried pork chops and fried plantains, plus frozen drinks and draught beer.
