Cube is a cheese-lovers dream and then some. Pasta is primo, grilled cheese is arresting and the cheese plate is a must. Meat dishes shouldn't be passed up.

Get your cheese fix by ordering Cheesemonger's Choice. Menu is seasonal and changes every Thursday. Also great place for wine tasting/drinking.

Great for wine and cheese, or a full 'Italian-inspired' meal. Friendly servers know their business. It's very small, so I recommend making a reservation. All pastas are made in-house

Fantastic pastas and prepared Italian food! – The Divine Pasta Company has a new look and a new name, Cube Cafe, Cheesebar, and Marketplace. While small in size, and relegated mostly to the corners and sides of the restaurant, the specialty food shop offers a nice selection of pestos, olive oils, salts, dried pastas, grains, and other pantry staples. Glass door refrigerators and freezers on both sides also display imported cheeses, salumis, and Cube?s signature prepared foods like Velvet Tomato Soup, Fresh Herb Marinated Wild Mahi Mahi, and Four Cheese Mac & Cheese. And, of course, it still stocks fresh Divine Pasta Company pastas, including flat noodles like Egg Pappardelle and Spinach Fettuccine and ravioli stuffed with roasted eggplant, wild mushrooms, and other classic ingredients.

Venison Meatloaf! – What does it feel like to eat in a private dining room? Well, I found out a few weeks ago when I called in a reservation for 5. We were seated in the wine room at a table meant for 6. It was awesome and we had great service.

The things to get are the maple braised bacon and the venison meatloaf. I also enjoyed the scallops.

The menu does change weekly so be on the lookout for new pastas and great farmers' market driven fare.

Delicious Food & Great Atmosphere – The service is great, the atmosphere is great, the food is excellent, especially the sweet corn stuffed pasta with brown butter sauce. Yum, it is triangle shaped pasta stuffed with sweet corn sprinkled with perfectly crisped bacon pieces and topped with a delicious brown butter sauce, it melts in your mouth. I will be going back for sure.

Very delicious Italian in a small package – Discovered this place today when looking for a lunch spot in Hollywood for a business lunch. Very cute little Italian cafe with a small number of tables inside and nice terrace outside (on La Brea). Inside has a wine section, a giant cheese selection, and lots of italian charm. The food was delicious. We had salads to start the heirloom tomatoes were super yummy and the wild arugula very spicy and crunchy. Veal Milanese for lunch with a side of (gasp) 4 cheese mac and cheese with black truffle oil. And actually felt good afterwords. The service was nice. I also had the sparkling home-made lemonade to drink which was good not too sweet. Of the pasta dishes about half were not available for lunch which was a shame since one of them (sweet corn stuffed pasta with brown butter) looked like it could have made the day... will have to wait to next time.

My Secret LA Spot – Cube is elegant but fun with a lot of thoughtful attention to the details.

I had the Rabbit Stuffed Ravioli. Never tried Rabbit before and was a little hesitant but both the manager Jason and my waitress Alice assured me that if I'm gonna try rabbit, this is place to start. They were right, it was rich and delicious, as was the 4 cheese macaroni. I will be back to try more on the menu.

As great as the food was, the service was even better. Very pleasant and helpful with our menu options, both our waitress and the manager gave us plenty of attention, even to chat a bit and make jokes. I just felt very comfortable here.

And the decor is cool. I feel possessive, like I've found my new secret LA spot. What an awesome restaurant with awesome style, service and food. Highly recommended.

Authentic Italian food, great service – Great selection of cheeses, charcuterie, wines, and interesting menu that never disappoints. I have no clue how these folks source their ingredients, but somehow they do, and the result is excellent. Italian food that is tough to find outside of Italy, and service that is consistently top notch, this is one of the best spots in LA.

Heady Feast Now with Wines! – The experience was like Babette's Feast only in Italy. First, a tasting of Prosecco was offered. I was on my own but began talking to other guests right away. We shared a feeling of delight!

A flight of cheese and mole salami was my starter. The name of each morsel was written on the slate tray bearing them. Cube is renowned for its stock of cheeses and salamis. Now they stock wines too!

Each dish was cooked beautifully. I had a honey polenta with baked apple and gorgonzola. Next, the wonderful pancetta wrapped pork and spaghetti squash with another shredded squash. My waitress insisted I at least taste the bread pudding. The cook is so brilliant I wanted to take her home but settled on my neat little take away box.

I told my waitress, an opera singer, that working with such exquisite food must be inspiring. And isn't Italian food simpatico with opera.

Citysearch Editorial Review – Now that Cube stocks a fair amount of wine to accompany Chef Erin Eastland's ever-changing menu, the sidewalk patio is an even more popular spot for Angelenos serious about eating good food without sacrificing atmosphere or enduring a "Hollywood" scene. The interior's deep-red tones and gleaming cheese bar--surrounded by shelves lined with fresh pastas and gourmet items--lend the small space a surprisingly lively feel. The menu straddles Old-World Italian comfort food and Molto-Mario style haute cuisine, and the friendly staff is equally low-key when discussing it. While the offerings are updated weekly, past standouts have included the shaved brussel sprout salad, olive oil poached tuna loin, black truffle pizza, balsamic glazed hanger steak and wild mushroom and zucchini stuffed pasta to name a very few. It's also easy to make a dinner out of the epic cheese flights and general selection--85 or so from around the world--and charcuterie (especially the 500-day aged prosciutto). Luckily the meal portions are perfect, so you should have plenty of room for desserts like the crumbly, warm French plum and berry cobbler.
