In Short – Built in 1912, this apartment building-turned-hotel now offers some of the city's best budget accommodations in an unbeatable setting. The hotel's 120 rooms might be more shabby than chic, their amenities might be mostly bare bones, but most offer at least partial views of English Bay and the sunset. Guests can unwind at night at the on-site bar or on the patio of the restaurant, taking in the sights.

terrible service

We had a terrible stay at this establishment. The manager would not let us out of our second night stay due to a storm coming. We wanted to get home before the storm and they would not offer us any way out of the second nights cost. I have never had this type of service at any hotel in all my travels. They never offered us any alternative.We were forced to drive home in a blizzard and what would have taken 3 hours took us 7 hours.
I would not reccomend this hotel to my worst enemy.
