In Short – Originally built in 1889 as a hemp and cedar bridge across the river, this swaying attraction now sees more than 750,000 thrill-seekers annually. With the 2004 addition of the Treetops Adventure, where visitors can tour the rain forest canopy by way of a cable bridge walk, the park is now a fully interactive rain forest education center. An on-site restaurant, gift shop and totem pole carving station are near the entrance.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Those with a fear of heights (or very young children) can see plenty of the gorgeous scenery and stroll on nature trails without crossing the bridge.
