Dependable, Reliable, Quality Roofer – They came on time as promised and provided me with an accurate estimate to do the work.
The had a slight delay due to bad weather but showed up as soon as they could after completing work ahead of us.
They had a terrific foreman who made sure we were pleased w/the work and did an excellent job keeping the job going smoothly and getting it done in one day with NO mess and no worries once they left my home. They were curteous while at my home and very respectful of me and my family while they worked.
I agree w/ previous poster, some people just cannot be pleased. I would venture to guess that the person who made that post hoped that it they complained enough they simply could get something for nothing.
The roof looks great and now we can enjoy our home knowing we wont have any problems with the roof for many, many years!!!
I would recommend these guys to anyone!!!
Great Company!!! – After having some problems with leaks I was finally referred to Larry Walty Roofing by a friend. They sent out a young man who did a great job (I believe his name was Ronald I lost his card). He seemed very knowledgeable and was respectful of my not knowing anything about roofs. He did a great job of explaining to me what my problem was and fixed it quickly. I have not had a single problem since! The next time I need a roof repair or even a new roof this is who I will call. I highly recommend them!
I dont understand the problem the first reviewer had, the gentleman they sent was young but did a great job and they got back to me very quickly and fixed my roof in remarkable time. Everyone I worked with was respectful and cared about my business with them. Sorry you had a bad experience but maybe you were a bad customer.
LWR Customer Service – The post about how to lose a customer in 10 days is such a lie from a customer that we had a problem with and have gone to drastic measures to fix. To date the customer has not paid their bill we have worked with the BBB of Wichita to help solve the problem and the customer will not agree to anything suggested. The BBB has a process in which to mediate any problems with consumers and the customer would not listen to anything or accept anything that we as a company or the BBB has suggested to them. We are a member of the BBB to help protect all of our consumers the BBB reached what they felt was a reasonable solution and the customer wants to keep posting nasty things about how we did not care for them. This is so not true and this is why the internet is only one way to research a company. Just for the record we are platinum preferred contractor through Owens Corning which only 100 companies in the United States have the privilege of. We just recently were elected by the city of Wichita as one of their top 6 contractors and have been given certification to inspect our own roofs. I could go on and on here but if you would like to see the entire complaint that the customer sent to the BBB please go to the BBB website and search for Larry Walty Roofing. Here at LWR we do not hide from our problems or run from them but just like some companies you simply can not work with we run into customers that you simply can not satisfy.
GREAT SERVICE – I was reffered to LWR by a friend after the hail storm this summer. The sales guy, they sent was very helpful in making sure my insurance company covered all damages. I had so many companies offering to do my job. Most were willing to replace my roof for what my insurance had paid. A lot were willing to cover (eat) my deductible. IN OTHER WORDS COMMIT INSURANCE FRAUD. LWR had my adjustor come out and look at my house again with them. My insurance company found and paid for a lot of things that I had not even noticed. Thank you for looking after my best intrust.
The roofing crew was polite and did my roof in one day. They cleaned up every thing like they had never been there. Then the siding and gutter guy's showed up and I had the same great experience.
I would suggest you give them a call.
How to lose a client in 10 days – If you are a renter... and aren't financially or emotionally invested in your home, call Larry. They are spot on at putting you off, sending kids out to do subpar work, providing their workers with antiquated and inadequate tools to tear your home up before your eyes, telling you to take your money elsewhere. After our own personal nightmare with LWR, I can guarantee you that you are in for a wild ride of construction fears made real. They are so adept at customer care that they are well versed in these great things to hear from a contractor; We are waiting on the insurance company that we never contacted, Look, my patience has been run thin this week, I don't appreciate being caught in a lie, Don't let our door get you too hard in the butt on the way out. So yeah, I guess if you like dysfunction and poor work then LWR is for you. If you are like me and value being treated like the top priority and with respect then there are other companies out there that know how to treat your home like their home and not their rental property.
