Credit Collection Agency – Contacting them to pay the bill was easy. The person was helpful with the correct account number, and made sure i knew what number to place on mypayment to ensure the payment went to the correct account. Unfortunately, she staed the moment the payment was received, and cleared they contact the reporting credit companies to make sure the information is current. guess what they did not do? Hey, I guess they forgot to call the Credit company because it still reflects a past due balance though the payment was made three months ago. Not really very efficient are they?
Do they even want you to pay your bills? – I called this company today to get a list of what I owe them (I have a lot of medical that I owe them) and they told me that they will not send my anything. When I asked about it they said that they changed policy and will no longer do that. Do they even want you to pay your bills or do they just want to sit on your credit and for the fun of it?
Completely unhelpful – These people make it INCREDIBLY hard to pay a debt. If you're a business owner, DO NOT USE KCI.
Dealing with collectors is never a FUN process, but wow. I tried to be polite and courteous; if I really owe money, then I want to pay it.
However, after my initiative to call THEM (called, left no message), they were incredibly rude, completely UNhelpful, and couldn't tell me anything. I'm sure what they were doing was also illegal--I live in Washington state which has pretty good consumer protection laws, but even at my request they would not:
-Send me a statement of the account
-Tell me WHO the bill was originally from
-Call me back
-Let me pay over the phone
-Let me pay on line
-Confirm any other identifying details so that I could even verify that they had the right person as the debtor!
This company is just ridiculous. I finally got the name of the company that said I owed them, and looked them up myself (thanks, Internet!), but I had to send them a check. Now the phone number I had won't work.
Unethical and Unresponsive – Unethical liars. I paid a medical bill for my recently deceased husband as soon as I was aware of it .KCI assurred me it would not be reported to the credit bureau if I pd. It is now on my credit report and they were rude and unresponsive when I called and asked them to remove it. I'm now unable to get a loan approval to refinance property that I'm having trouble paying for since the loss of my husbands income. This is the only negetive info. on my report. I've reported this organization to the FTC.
Companies should NOT hire this agency!!!
Harrassing Collection Representatives with the WRONG NUMBERS! – Title says it all. Refuse to stop calling even when you call and tell then they have the WRONG NUMBER!
