The Best Bartenders & The Best Drinks!. I love, love, love this place! The entire staff is great and I can't RAVE enough about them. Everytime I go there I have the best time and meet so many interesting people. Purr serves fantastic drinks and on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays... the music always has people dancing around the place! The decor and atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I can go on and on about this place! Did I mention that I love this bar?

BEST of the BEST on the Hill!. PURR Cocktail Lounge is the classiest new joint on the Hill! The BEST drinks, bartenders, and ambience available! Even before their first year anniversary, PURR has become the hottest spot for cocktail hour, meeting friends, and meeting new people. PURR's management believes in supporting the surrounding community and has already given support to local charities and athletic clubs including Rain City Soccer Club. Thanks, Barbie! Great atmosphere for gay and straight people. Bender and Barbie make everyone feel at home - very comfortable to go in and have something to drink or a bite to eat - very open and pleasant atmosphere

A Gay Bar that doesn't scare the straights!. With the opening of Purr there has been a breath of fresh air blown onto Capital Hill, and from the crowd on Friday & Saturday nights others agree. A mix of men, women, straight, & gay provide a comfortable ambiance that allows me to take anyone there. This is I place I would actually take my parents for a drink when the visit. The staff has never disapointed, and you will actually see the owner there terring it up on Karyoke Nights. There is comfortable furniture, booths, or bar stool to hang out on, and the furniture is not discusting like some other bars. It's right up by the newly redone park so you can usually find parking over there.
