All you can eat?????? – It is suppose to be all you can eat catfish. However second time around the same routine is still in place.
After meal is served waitress disappears. Once the waitress returns and we asked for another serving of catfish then the wait is on. You get the feeling that you are begging for a second serving.
FANTASTIC Neighborhood Spot – PRG is one of my as well as my group of friends' favorite places to eat! We've been there at least once a week for the past 2 years. The food is great and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The "Italian" spaghetti is straight out of Mom's kitchen... lots of onion, ground beef and bell pepper in the sauce! Delishious! Also, the fried chicken tenders are the best fried chicken ANYWHERE! Perfectly crispy on the outside and unbelievably juicy and tender on the inside. The salads are large and full of fresh vegetables and you should DEFINITELY try the House Dressing. Very unique and unlike any I've ever had anywhere else.
I can't really think of a negative, except that our favorite server, PJ, has mysteriously disappeared! The other servers are lovely, but they just don't have the same sense of customer service and attentiveness that she had. Please bring her back!! It's not the same without her!
Best wings and bbq around – This is a great place to watch a game. It has plenty of tvs so you can watch a game anywhere you sit. The smoked wings are awsome and on monday nights there are on special. The ribs and bbq brisket is the best in town. The regulars will make anybody feel welcome. Plus the bartenders are hot.
Incredible wings, unique nachos, and a hot server. What else do you need? – These wings are possible THE best chicken wings I have EVER had. That's really all I gotta say about that.
the best bbq in nashville – Great neighborhood bar and grille. Great food, great service. Always busy on Friday with "All U can eat Catfish". Awesome!! Thursdays are BBQ day with specials every week. Great place to hang out!!! Full Bar with great prices. Plenty of TV's.
Editorial Review – Offering daily meat-and-three specials, this local's stop for American-style comfort food favorites is nestled off the Annex.
MMMMM Good – If you blink, you might miss it... but I'll swear to you it's West Nashville's best kept secret. Off of Annex across from the New Costco, PRG is quite tasty. The prices are fair, the environment is casual, and the regulars will take near about anyone in with open arms. My favorites... the BBQ Nachos or Granny's homemade salsa with tortilla chips. The catfish... oh the catfish, especially in the basket is delicious. If you want something bigger, the spaghetti is tasty, as well as just a simple pork or brisket dinner. And if you're still hungry, try ANY of Granny's homemade desserts. You will melt. Try it out...
Best barbecue/sports bar/neighborhood pub in West Nashville – The father and son team of Buddy and Charlie Babb have been winning barbecue championships for years. One taste of their ribs, pulled-pork or smoked chicken shows how smart the judges have been. This cozy neighborhood restaurant/bar serves daily meat-and-three specials at lunch and a full and varied menu evenings. Be sure and check the menu board for nightly specials, especially the pasta on Wednesdays. The hot chicken, served only on Tuesday's, ranks right up there with Prince's and Bolton's. Mondays and Fridays feature "all you care to eat" catfish. Prices are very reasonable and portions are huge. The bar has several TVs for sports. One area needing improvement is the beer cooler. Many times, the beer is so cold that it has ice in it. Bar regulars represent an eclectic mix of laborers, craftsmen and professionals, with local politicians stopping by on a regular basis. The friendly atmosphere will remind you of the "Cheers" television program several years ago. West Nashville was literally starved for dining choices for years, so Paradise Ridge has proven to be a welcome addition.
