Great Food _ horrible Service – I live across the street from here and periodically need to boycott because the owner has no idea how to run a business. she is rude and arrogant and I like the other poster have had her call me up and yell at me for them delivering the wrong order. The food is inexpensive and authentic so sometimes ( like tonight ) I bite the bullet and order the steak sandwich ( which she insists must be deluxe in the evening ( even though that is not what the menu says) and wait a 1/2 hr ( even though I live right across the street)
Good food, but pathetic service and attitude – We ordered for delivery, they delivered the wrong order, which took 1 hour, they then sent the correct order, which took another 30 minutes. The owner called demanding that the wrong order be sent back, which we had put in the trash, they picked it up and actually think they re-delivered. She (owner) didnt even offer a discount or an apology - with so many choice, i wouldnt waste time on someone who does not appreciate your business.
Disappointing food and poor service – My husband and I were excited to find this hole-in-the-wall and had high expectations for the homemade Mexican food. The chips and salsa were good, but nothing else was great. I had a chicken burrito which as just average and my husband's steak fajitas were terrible. The meat was fatty and bland. On top of that, our waitress ignored us although there were only 2 other tables with customers. We won't be dining here again.
Best mexican on the Upper East Side. Best chips in Manhattan. – My fiancee and I can't believe we were so lucky to discover this place. Doesn't look like anything as we sit down and then crunch into the best corn chips we've ever had. I mean, we stopped and stared at each other mid chip, amazed as how good it was.
It's taken me a while to check out more of the menu because I loved my salmon taco salad so much that I kept ordering it again and again. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Prices are reasonable and they deliver.
It's now our regular Mexican place and we go about twice a month.
Great customer service, great food – I have gone serveral times.
It's great to have a good Mexican Restaurant in the neighborhood.
The service was very good, and especially the delicious food.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE – i urge everyone not to give this restaurant any business. their customer service is THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
i placed a delivery order with a woman, and left my credit card number. she called called back shouting at me that i gave her an invalid credit card number. first, the card is perfectly fine, and had been used no more than 20 minutes earlier. second, i was not upset that she did not get the number right, which was a perfectly understandable mistake, i was upset that she was shouting at me over it. i calmly tried to explain this to her, at which point she became more aggressive and hostile to me on the phone. i asked to speak to the manager, turns out she is the manager. i then asked to speak to the owner, looks like she is the owner too.
if that is the way she decides to do business, it is her choice. i for one, do not wish to continue giving my business to someone who treats customers this way.
Fresh Homemade Mexican Food – Delicious. Homemade. Fresh. Friendly Service. Excellent Value.
All of these are true statements about Sabor A Mexico II, which I recently learned about. Their food is delicious and I think they have the best guacamole I've ever tasted! (I've searched the city for good guac. I thought I found it at Agata, but now that I tasted Sabor's, I think I've found the best.)
#76 is an excellent meal on the menu. Great after your hungry from a long day at work since it's steak with two sides.
Also, Sabor always throws in something extra when you order from them. It's like having mom put a little note in your lunchbox. Always sweet and welcome.
