Wost Tattoo experience ever! – The idiot Eric that tattooed me, spelt boundaries wrong. so my stomach says "no boundies"- i mean are you kidding? he was unfriendly and seemed annoyed and the place is a disaster. He says he is going to fix it, how i dont know but i dont want his hands touching me. dont go to this place! There are plenty of amazing tattoo artists in this city and this place does not employ any of them.

Awesome Tattoo Experience – I had an amazing experience getting tattooed by Mike at Addiction. My friend and I were inspired to get tattoos together on a Monday night. We ended up at Addiction after closing time, but Elaina and Mike kept the shop open so Mike could tattoo us. He was definitely the most personable artist I've ever worked with and he did a great job. Plus the prices were more than reasonable and the shop is immaculately clean. I am already planning to have Mike do my next piece!

The Best I've Ever Encountered – I walked into Addiction with a black outline of a celtic claddagh design, and walked out with a beautiful, colourful, PERSONAL tattoo. My tattoo artist, Adal, knew exactly what he was doing and spent nearly an hour talking with me about what to do with the outline in order to make it everything I wanted it to be. My tattoo is about four inches wide and three inches tall and only cost me $150 (another place wanted to charge that much for just the black outline). I only have 3 tattoos at the moment, but this one is by far the best and the one that people complement me on non-stop. Definitely check out the artists' work either online or in the books they have at the place; I couldn't imagine anyone regretting it. Only people who go there with an attitude and little patience will leave disappointed.

Love this Place! – Well, went in for some ink yesterday and wow I couldnt be any happier! I had talked with louis about an ankle peice I had been wanting and he drew up two custom pieces and they came out great! He is an amazgin artist and if your looking to get a tattoo or just try a new artist he is totally the guy to go with! He is super friendly and super helpful. Everyone at the shop is super chill and vibe with anyone that walks in.

Everyone that works there is really helpful and honest.

going back in two weeks to finish up my peice and I am super stoked!

AVOID! AVOID! negative energy and mean people!! – lazy service and disgusting people! friend and i walked into this place last friday night hoping to give a new place a chance, but left appalled by the service. upon entering we were barely greeted by the two employees. we got the stink eye from the girl, and then she threw us the photo book and tried to shut us up from asking her questions. told us to wait and ask the artist the questions. so then the "artist" creeps out from behind the curtain, and he ALSO looked annoyed and in a bad mood. my friend showed him the specific drawing she arrived with and asked if he could do it, and the artist said "yes" and then takes the original and resizes it without telling her. she noticed and asked if he made it larger, and he snapped "yes it's 3% larger and if that's going to be a problem, i'd rather not tattoo you." geez no need to yell but don't withhold that info, just tell. it's like using a dirty needle and withholding that info from you. then we asked about price and he had the nerve to mutter "$100" for a tiny tattoo... his reason, "it will last a lifetime" ... um, most ink last a lifetime these days, they're not using special ink there. we suggested $75, and he got real mad and "challenged" us to visit other places and see if they'll do it for less." and guess what?? we went to nalla smith (he worked at ed hardy's tattoo city and he is an amazing artist) at ink stop tattoo on avenue a between 12th and 13th street and he charged us $60 for absolutely gorgeous work. the walls at ink stop is plastered with art, unlike addiction showcases w/ bongs. wtf? if you want a great tattoo, go to INK STOP.. if you want to get chased out the door by rude people or want to buy a pretty bong then go to ADDICTION.
