Get there early for best table and don't be afraid to ask to sit where you'd like to. We had a really fun time here... but almost got sucked into the tiny amateur club next door. WATCHOUT! - they will take your ticket for Broadway Comedy Club and tell you that you are in the right place and you are NOT. Big Club has a podium where you go and check off your reservation... Little club just takes you to a tiny little room and has non-pros and from the reviews - not good. Don't get the two confused. Little amateur club seats a few dozen - big professional Club seats a few hundred. One is GREAT ... other is not good. No doubt the reviewers are confusing the two because when we made our way to the Big Club - it was a difference of day and night. FUN/FUNNY night out for all 8 of us.
Saturday was awesome night of comedy!
It was really great! The headliners were all really funny
We saved money by buying discounted tickets from Best Comedy Tickets site.
The show was really good, and if we would come back.
Best Comedy Club in Town! – There’s tons of entertainment in New York City but I prefer the Broadway Comedy Club over any other place. The seats are comfortable, the waitresses are friendly and the stage can be seen from virtually any place you choose to sit. Whoever does the talent booking should be commended because the people they put up on this stage are hilarious. Many of the comedians have gone on to Saturday Night Live and it’s not uncommon to see an SNL writer on the stage. It’s only top shelf comedians here and so you’re always guaranteed a good laugh. Plus the waitresses will always ensure you have a drink in front of you.
Best Comedy Tickets, Inc. - NYC's Gateway For Great Prices! – I'm a native New Yorker & have been to every comedy club in NYC. I usually ended up spending over $100 for mediocre comedy.
I wanted to take my date to her first comedy show in NYC & I was on a mission to find a new comedy club at a decent price. I spotted Broadway Club shopping one day & wanted to try it out.
Thanks to Best Comedy Tickets, Inc., I was able to get 50% off the cover price for a Friday night venue admission.
I was treated like a VIP due to a "mix-up" with my ticket purchase through a comedy ticket seller known as Best Comedy Tickets, Inc. The owner of Best Comedy Tickets, Joseph, was very professional & helped to take care of the situation. I immediately received a phone call & an email from the owner of Broadway Comedy Club assuring me that this mix up won't happen again.
It's not your typical hole in the wall comedy environment; I've seen a lost worse! The club was clean but packed. Service was pleasant & fast. The comedians were better than I thought. The MC & key comics from BET stole the spotlight.
I had a great time. I would definitely use Best Comedy Tickets again for another comedy venue at other clubs. Thanks again Best Comedy Tickets!
Fun night of comedy – Broadway Comedy Club is amazing! We purchase discounted tickets on Best Comedy Tickets website from our hotel concierge. It was very accessible from our hotel in Times Square. We will be back again. Thank you Broadway Comedy Club, and Best Comedy Tickets!
Great Comedy Show!! – We bought discount comedy tickets online at a site called Best Comedy Tickets went to Broadway Comedy Club on thursday night. The host of the show was very funny! The other comedians that night were really hilarious We even recognized some of them from Comedy Central. We will definitely will be back at the Broadway Comedy Club.
The Best Comedy Club I've Ever Been To! – By the time the show was over, our bellies hurt from laughing so hard. Seeing Marina Franklin from the Chapelle show was a treat. She's incredible. Plus, Judah Friedlander and Greg Fitzsimmons completely tore the place apart.
We spent $30 on VIP passes and felt like it was a steal. Can't wait to use the free bonus tickets to go back!
No Talent & a Dump – The domestic beer is $8 and they include the tip, so the help doesn't care about service.
The comics were duller than my butter knives and the place smelled. Most of the audience is from foreign countries, so you know it is a tourist trap. They even had young 14 yo girls sitting on stage as part of the audience. Some of the comics announced that they were changing the routine, because of the girls. The announcements were as funny as the rest of the jokes.
We went with the living social deal for $20 for 2 tickets& 2 drinks. The bill was $25, so we paid $45 total for everything with tip. We have a second voucher, but I don't think we can go back, the place smelled too bad.
Amazing Comedy Show! – My husband and I purchase discount tickets on the Best Comedy Tickets web site, and we love the show at the Broadway Comedy Club. We watch comedy central a lot, so as tourist we wanted to go to a comedy show while in New York. Most of the comedians we recognized from TV, and we're very funny. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great night out buy tickets from best comedy tickets they had good customer service, and gave us good recommendations.
DO NOT GO HERE. This club does not deserve your business. – DO NOT GO HERE. This club is unsafe and exploits its customers, especially tourists. Gratuity is included, so the service staff only cares about whether you order drinks & not about whether you're experiencing decent service. The club's management encourages a combative, rude, and frighteningly aggressive atmosphere.
I went here tonight to support my friend in a comedy competition. DURING MY FRIEND'S PERFORMANCE--which I had traveled for over one hour & paid a cover to see, and which was only scheduled to be 5 minutes long--the waitress Ashley picked a fight with me & threatened to call security if I didn't move to another section of the club--even though I was observing the club's rules & was seated and had ordered a drink. Her behavior was combative and aggressive for no valid reason, and was basically an attempt to display power. Due to Ashley's behavior, I missed half of my friend's performance, which was the only reason I came to this club.
I discussed Ashley's behavior with the manager, David (who has long blond hair). He was immediately defensive and dismissive of my concerns. He clearly didn't care, and it dawned on me that he encouraged an atmosphere of combative, rude, and aggressive behavior from the waitstaff.
The rest of my (very large) group shared similar stories afterwards about how aggressive, rude, and surly the waitstaff was.
Given my experience, and the experience of my group, I will never go here again. Please don't go here, either. Especially if you're new to New York, you should know that there are a lot of other amazing comedy clubs in New York City. New York City is a meritocracy, and this club does not deserve to survive unless it changes it service philosophy.
