I went to this place once, and the customer service was really horrible. They took forever to come take the order and to check out with the bill. I would never go back to this place.
Tangra is a great place to go try Indian style Chinese food. Food is always superb and tasty. Its a great place to take family for a night out. But beware it gets busy during weekends so arrive early.
You must try the Lollypop Chicken, Chiili Chicken, and Tangra masala chicken.
Awesome Indian - Chinese food!! – This is how Chinese food in India is served. Food here has the Indian flair which is missed out in regular Chinese food in the US.
Chili chicken- Dry
Try these and you'll agree that is food is awesome.
really tasty food – A friend of mine lives in this neighborhood and I visited him recently and for lunch we went to this big and wild place. It's a little funny for me to be in such a big place for lunch -- the room -- is big with so much elbow room because I'm from Manhattan, but my buddy assured me I was going to love the food so I relaxed. Great food is right! This is a combination type of food between Chinese and Indian food and boy does it work! The fish fingers from the appetizer menu, the shrimp rounds from the same menu, the hot/sour chicken soup were all unbelievably tasty. It is in a not-sexy but not dangerous neighborhood so it would be like never would I go here if my friend wasn't in the neighborhood, but I would visit again in a flash if he said we could have lunch or dinner here again!
I'll be back – It's not Asian as in China, it's Asian as in India, Pakistan etc., though, honestly, as a descendent of 5 generations ago Irish, I am hardly an expert on the what Asian fusion is.
Here's what I know: my similarly ethnic-Irish companion loved the goat.
I ordered an appetizer that turned out to be the best shrimp ball I ever had. There were 8 of them, I would have eaten 32.
If you know the room, you know it is the biggest restaurant room by far far far in Sunnyside. I love the room. I loved it when it was a Chinese restaurant, I really loved it when it was a Romanian restaurant and now I am warming up to it.
