Sports Grill - NO BAR!! – I live less than half a mile from this place and I used to walk there when I had friends over a few times a week during the winter. I have returned twice in the last couple of weeks since I have been back in town and they now have a very strict 1 drink per hour policy and they keep close track of when you had your last drink. The food and service are marginal at best so if you are not mormon and would like to go watch a game and have drinks with friends you will sorely disappointed. There are 50 restaurants in the area that have better food and service.
Food okay-great server! – My husband and I stopped at Iggy's because we wanted to watch the Twin's game while having dinner. The atmosphere was nice and the bread with chili water was excellent. Our server was a very nice young lady who took our order promptly but then the problem started. Our food took almost 45 minutes to get to our table after our order was taken. From what our server told us another server had taken my meal to his table instead of waiting his turn and they had to remake my food. But while my meal was being made, my husband's sat under a heat lamp and dried out making both his sandwhich and fries very disgusting. The waitress felt bad and gave of a complimentary dessert of our choice which was nice and I appreciate her efforts to correct the mistake. My only advice: next time, remake both orders so that they are fresh when they come to the table. Other than that, our experience was fine.
Best review ever – We attended this establishment this evening for dinner and a few drinks before a movie. Our server, Anna, was fabulous and very attentive. As for your manager Abe, he was tactless and assumed we had too much to drink for the evening. We understand you have a responsibility to look after you patrons but we walked to your establishment from our apartment 1130 E View Point Dr. (Promontory Point Apartments, less than a block away) and were in no way a disturbance to other customers. At first he commented that we were a fun group but upon delivering our check he commented that we were "falling down drunks who needed to leave because we had been there a long time". We had spent a good amount of money on food, more than on drinks, and were honestly offended by your "manager's" comment. From past experience I'd be surprised if he was really a manger because of his poor customer service and attitude. On the other hand Anna was very accommodating and was continuously apologetic of Abe's attitude and behavior. I've always enjoyed Iggy's service, living so close, but I would appreciate some respect and appreciation for our patronage. I hope this review is taken into consideration and improvements are made. Thank you for your time.
