One of the tow guys tried to run me over. His name was James. He was arrogant and talked down to me when I was trying to explain to him that I'd pay him the $65 he demanded to release my car from his truck. He told me that I made him SICK. After listening to him talk belligerently, I finally let him have it and told him that maybe if he got a college education, he could do some other type of work because towing cars and dealing with people was certainly not his forte. I asked for his managers name and he said, "Arnold". I asked for Arnold's last name, but he refused to give it to me.
After he unhooked my vehicle, he moved his truck and parked it ILLEGALLY. What a moron!
Very, very unprofessional, belligerent and unable to communicate in a decent manner. This guy obviously tows cars for a living because his people skills are non-existent.
Very friendly and easy to work with. Don't let the employees scare you. Arnold, the owner is a really nice guy and will work with you. Just a little tip from our experience, milk and cookies go a long way with him.
They were hard to get a hold of at first but once I did they gave me a price that was understandable. Plus they gave me a discount once I showed them the handicap plaque that I was suppose to hang from my rearview mirror. They understood why I was mad. And I understood why they towed my car. I didn't think they were all that bad.
how in the world can you tow a car in the handcap with a handcap sticker ? this is not wright
shady business! Keep away from them! Searches for vehicles to tow. Is located sheepishly inside a tile store. Wouldn't want to buy tile or new flooring either!
Heritage Ignores Utah Law – Recently visited family in SLC. Parked our rental car about 10:30PM in what looked like an open space, however the wheel chair painted on the lot was covered with snow. Our rental car was towed by Heritage between 10:30pm & 6:00a.m. Strange hours for tow trucks..no notification, thought car was stolen in the morning. Complex office "didn't know"..gave us a warning sticker with Heritage's phone number. Feels very much like car stealing...demanded cash for payment $175.00, Arnold being so
kind as to waive &75.00 after hour fee, which is illegal by the way. Tow Driver did tell us Heritage has contracts with about 40 apartment complexes to tow cars. As previously stated, quite a racket..there is Utah law for tow trucks, contracts with private property, etc. We live in Florida, but if anyone's interested in pursing Utah Law, I'm pretty sure that Heritage towing is ignoring several Utah laws...This company deserves to take a look at it's practices. Remember, what goes around comes around.
This company does not even deserve to be in Business.... – I Had a vehicle that was impound for this company by mistake... i didnt even know what happened with my vehicle and when i came back from vacation it was gone... so then they wanted to charge me for the whole stay that i wasnt in the state... so basicly like $1300 !!!!!!! i dont have the money because i spent it on vacation... so my idea was trying to sell... so i got same buyers and they wanted to try the vehicle .. so i called the company asking if there will be a chance to try the vehicle.. they person that answer the phone said yes... this people travel 6 hrs to see the car and when we got there a fat disgusting lady followed by another redneck called red and i dont know... they didnt let the people try the car... so because they coudnt try it they didnt buy it... i didnt have the money to get it out of the impound yard... basicly the guy tryed to pick a fight with me and called me names.... unbelieveble ... the customer service of the company is the worse i ever had... in fact i want to do something to make them pay for all of the suffer they make to people !!!!! this people live with hell every day due to their bad atitude and customer service... they ripped peoples car off their hand... trying to get title for them... the worse company ever.... and this is a fact... the fat lady called the owner... she should stop eating MCDONALDS ... otherwise she wont be able to speak by herself !...
Worst Towing Company!!!! – I wish I could give you know stars. This company preys on unfortunate people. My mother lives in a handicap unit and has parked in the same handicap parking space for over 7 months. When she returned home the weather was bad and she forgot to put up her handicap (which was sitting on the seat). So they towed her car. We called them and they said they have "new" drivers or they would not have towed. The lady we spoke to on the phone was VERY RUDE!!! THis company is full of low lifes with no conscious. They desrve the F that the BBB give them!
Scam operation? Makes you wonder... – Towed my sons car for being illegally parked in a tenant parking pot for TWO HOURS. Heritage claimed it was there for two days. Charged us $265.00 for impounding the vehicle ONE MILE AWAY.
Makes me wonder if Heritage is running a racket with the local apartment complexes. I know that times are hard, but geez, don't you want to make an HONEST LIVING???
