The worst experience of my life. Fees double over the quote, told would take two hours was five. My pig took three full days to come off anaesthetic, he had hoof trim four days later still can put weight on back leg and is still bleeding. Terrible service charged 50 for exam and gave no info about his health. Made him stay in a room alone dripping blood all over the floor. I literally had to break him out of that hell hole.... Never go there I am not sure she didn't give him brain damage as now my pig wakes up screaming and is afraid of everything..... It gets better, he did not have an ear infection but I asked that his ears be cleaned. Now has an ear infection. They will not give him medication for the infection they gave him unless he is seen...... Ya, like I'm going to put him through that again...

My animals and I love Dr. Harris and her staff! I trust two American Bulldogs and all of my ferrets to Dr. Harris and will continue to do so. I feel she truly cares about my pets and me too. Dr. Harris always makes time to see my pets if it is an emergency and does her best to make them comfortable and get them feeling better as fast and efficiently, not to mention as inexpensively, as she possibly can. Dr. Harris has performed two surgeries on one of my dogs and she has done a wonderful job. I can't thank her enough for the support and caring she shows my pets every time they are in her office. Bravo Dr. Harris! Keep up the good work. Keiko, Tussy and the rest of the gang send their regards and sincere thank yous.

To Crystal-Unless someone comes in to reestablish an account under their own name after a divorce, all parties listed on a bad account are by law responsible for that account. You and Kenniy left the state with an unpaid balance on $300 of laboratory testing that was done at an outside lab. I paid for that testing, for your bird, out of my pocket. I bent over backwards to help everyone I could with their pets as I was establishing my practice. I allowed people to pay their accounts over time-some never paid me at all. I handed out my personal cell phone number to clients for emergency use-while most clients were extremely respectful and used it judiciously (some even wouldn't use it when I wanted them to), a few seriously abused the privledge and did their best to make me feel like the bad guy when I asked them to start using my answering service instead. Now that I have the responsibility of my own facility, immense overhead and employees to take care of, if I were still practicing like this, I would have been completely burned out AND out of business by now.

You are experienced enough with birds to know that the only thing an owner can provide for a sick bird is warmth-beyond that, they need to be seen. You had the option to make an appointment or bring the bird right in that day, under our prepayment policy for first-time clients (which my staff pushed me to establish). I cannot get on the phone personally with every client who calls when I have my hands full of patients who are physically here, whose owners are providing me with the means to continue to be here. I would run this as a free-to-all facility if I had the means to do it (and I gave you and your ex an awful lot of breaks back in the day), so DON'T YOU DARE publicly call me out on ETHICS!

To Nader-Owners of ill pets are always given the option and advised to do diagnostics. It is up to the owner to accept or decline the cost of diagnostics. I am very sorry for your loss, unfortunately this is a common scenario with rabbits and other prey species, my own daughter lost a rabbit to an intestinal obstruction that I was not able to resolve.

Used to believe Dr. Harris was the best vet around. Ran a rescue and she treated all the animals with expertise and caring. However, unknown to me, there was an outstanding bill (divorce situation - thought x paid) and today she refused to help me over the phone with my ailing parrot. I just had moved back to Ut and did not know who else to call. I understand and would be glad to pay the bill outstanding now I know of it and would have sent her my address to bill me, but refusal to even help me over the phone has now got my stomach turned on her whole ethics and values of life. Anyone who knows parrots knows that if they show signs of illness, it should be immediately addressed. Thanks for the concern doc. I am now not a fan.

TERRIBLE place. The vet is excessively hesitant, I don't think she knows much about rabbits. Failed to do her job and diagnose a very sick rabbit properly. Just gave him some fluids. Lady if all I had to do was give my rabbit fluids I wouldn't need you. Didn't bother to run tests or vitality checks. The rabbit ended up passing away. Had she done her job well the bunny would still be alive.

Excellent Vet & Staff – Dr. Harris and her staff have been amazing at treating my Netherland Dward rabbit with her recurring abscesses. No other rabbit-savvy vet was willing to treat this condition due to the abscesses' location. The condition has been difficult but Dr. Harris is doing her best at keeping my rabbit healthy and out of her office.

I was happily surprised when I e-mailed Dr. Harris an article I found online and she recognized the author. She mentioned how she has attended seminars by him, which shows that she stays on top of things in her field.

The staff is also excellent and knowledgeable. I like that whenever my rabbit is being observed, there are two people in the run to prevent her from injuring herself (if she tries to escape).

This practice has been the first one to provide me with a low and high estimate before any significant treatment, like surgery. Given my rabbit's health problems, I highly appreciate this. Furthermore, they are very reasonable with their cost of appointments and treatments.

Knowledgeable and Experienced – Dr. Harris and her staff took very good care of our ferret when he had an ulcer that caused him to stop eating. We left him there for several days and they syringe fed him and gave medication that allowed him to heal.

In the past, we had taken our ferrets to another vet who sees mostly cats and dogs. In comparison, it is clear that Dr. Harris and her staff are much more experienced with and comfortable handling these little guys. They even work with a local ferret rescue to provide care for and find homes for ferrets.

Unimpressed – I was not impressed at all with the service, attitude, and demeanor of Dr. Harris. She was very condescending and treated me poorly when I was upset about my rabbits diminishing health. I could hear her in the back yelling at an employee and her negative attitude seemed to carry into my appt. She seemed very rude to the staff creating an uncomfortable atmosphere, making it awkward for me. I left terribly disatisfied and will never go back. A word to the wise: stay away.

Great Vet – I've been seeing Dr. Harris for a few years now. She has treated my rabbits for a whole range of issues. She is always caring and knows her stuff. I've been to a lot of other so called exotic vets who really have no business saying they can treat these types of animals. Her staff is great, esp. Brandy. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals.
