welcoming and great experience. I went in as a new client getting shoulder length hair cut into a pixie cut. I was very sure that I wanted it short, and David was great on feeling out how much I was willing to cut off. Needless to say I have very little hair and THE BEST style. I have had non stop compliments on my cut and color. The shop was a welcoming enviroment;if I was unhappy and wanted a change I feel that I would have no problem getting help. But I am so lucky David gave me an amazing cut, color, and stlye! Props to the Forum!

i made an appointment at forum today based on the review in SL Weekly. Given it was a same day appointment, i didn't have the highest hopes for a great cut (but it was an emergency)--i was *so* wrong. from the moment i waled in to the salon i was treated extremely well. my appointment was with olga and i can honestly say it was one of the best styles, color jobs and overall experience i've had (and i've been to some really upscale salons in boston, san francisco, dc and new york). olga spent several minutes checking out my hair texture, the way it fell/wanted to part/ cowlicks, and my natural and dyed color. she consulted with me and one of the salon owners to decide the best shades for highlights and discussed what i was looking for and what she thought would look great for a cut. when she rinsed my hair she gave this *AMAZING* scalp massage--i would easily have paid extra for it (it was *that* good) but i guess the bonus massage is standard procedure at Forum.
Olga then cut my hair, dried it, cut it some more to get the shape right, styled it and then did a final trim to put the strays in place. She is seriously one of the best stylists i've ever gone to. I walked out looking and feeling amazing.
other bonuses: the prices are great, atmosphere is unique and they serves refreshments.
i cannot stop gushing.
great experience. If youre looking for a wonderful, relaxing, perceptive, personalized experience (and to end up looking fabulous) give these guys a try. I have never had anything less than a pleasurable visit to the Forum. Jason and David will rock your hair. I love this place and their stylists.
Best BANGS (or "fringe", as the pro's call it) for your buck.. The Forum Salon is great...I don't do color or wacky trendy styles and no one ever pressures me to (I'm not exempt from a little teasing, however). The scalp massage/shampoo is half the reason I go there, but it doesn't hurt that David happens to be the best stylist either...
best haircut and scalp massage. i am picky about my hair and was nervous when i walked in but jason gave me the best hair cut i have ever had in my life. and i have never had someone take the time to give me a scalp massage while getting my hair washed it was amazing! the salon atmosphere is wonderful, everyone is very friendly and helpful!
Best salon experience I have ever had!.
Forget every mediocre salon visit you have ever experienced where your "stylist" tediously follows the same old hair-school cut & color routine. From sloppily smearing color onto your face (that won't wash off for two days), to baking under that dinosaur hair dryer as the fumes force tears from your eyes, followed by a quick shampoo ...leaving just enough color stuck to your scalp to cause a little burning later. If that isn't torture enough...it's all topped off by your head being jerked and pulled around with the round brush for a quick dry and style so they can get you out of the chair in time for their next client.
I never imagined that getting my hair done would become an exciting & rexaling experience as Forum has made it ! The carefull attention to detail by the hair designers and the AMAZING scalp massage and shampoo experience put Forum in a class all their own! This isn't just "getting your hair done" .....Forum is an EXPERIENCE! I would definately recommend Forum to all ages, genders, and prefrences. I would also have to agree with the last comment....the eye candy makes it that much more enjoyable ; )
Friendly service, Fun atmosphere. Forum Salon is AWESOME! The customer service there is impeccable! They really make you feel conforatable. The stylist are amazing and creative and really listen to what you want (and not mention some super cute eye candy) My favorite part was getting my hair washed. It was more like a massage. Trinity's hands are SO strong!
Cool Atmosphere. i love forum salon you can go to any of their stylists and get a great cut, color or whatever. the atmosphere is different from other salons but i loved it. i recently got my eye brows done there and they look great and then got my lashes tinted and since 2 of my friends have gone and done the same because of how great it looks.
