I found their service to be below par, the server had an attitude, and there was actually an argument happening 2 tables from us. The argument was about a mistake on the bill, and the server was extremely indignant. No customer wants to listen to a server going back and forth with a customer while you are trying to enjoy your meal.

I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND SUSHI WA!.

TRUE REVIEW!! – I don't know where these people writing the bad reviews were eating, but it was not Sushi Wa! My husband and I go here at least once or twice a month. The service warrants us usually leaving a 30% tip, and I'm a server and therefore very scrutinizing. The food is phenomenal! We always get all you can eat, and believe me we eat all we can! Fresh food! Beautiful presentation, and personable, and funny sushi chef's. Jun is a true people person and we will continue to go here and enjoy the food and service!

Dishonest Worker / False advertisement – My family and I (8 of us total) were hungry for sushi and having read the reviews we thought sushi wa was not only close to our house but many have enjoyed their service. My husband and I eat out 4-5 times a week and travel often around the country. I have never felt compelled to write a review but I am taking the time to write one to protect everyone else...The lead server who wears a Louis Vuitton belt decided to take our order and explained their rules of charging us if we don't finish everything we order since it was "all you can eat" for $26.95 per person. This guy limited us from ordering 7 items at a time and refused to take our next 7 items until we finish all of the 7 items we previously ordered. He intentionally took his time and made us wait for our food and when confronted he made no apologies but rather said that is their rule. Frustration grew and ultimately we asked for our check. This server charged us 20% gratuity and taxed us for the 20% gratuity. We checked their rules, per the menu, it says they will charge 18% gratuity. After 10 minutes of arguing, the server finally agreed to only charge us 18% but insisted that the gratuity is taxed and that is their rule and if and buts about it.

Should you decided to go even with this poor service, make sure you check your math. This guy intentionally charged us 20% gratuity for a mediocre service at best and taxed us on an overcharged gratuity of which he did not deserve. They are intentionally dishonest and deprive you of what they advertise as "all you can eat".

My family and I will never go to this restaurant and certainly will NOT recommend it to anyone.

bad service!! mediocre food!! not going back !! – this place is mediocre and has a very poor service. the host did not even greet us when we walked in and just looked at us from head to toe with a straight face...no hi or hello or how are you like we are not paying patrons. food is not that great either. there's better places out there for all you can eat sushi with better food and better service. i am not go back there again! this is definitely not the best sushi on the entire west coast...that is a lie for sure...or who ever wrote that comment is not expose to other great sushis out there...how sad!

By Far the Best Sushi on the Entire West Coast – Read a few bad reviews here and can tell you, they were written with no factual basis at all.

The owner of this place, Jun, used to be a fish retailer and he sold fish to all the sushi restaurants in Las Vegas. You can guarantee, that he always makes sure the fish in his restaurant is the highest grade and the freshest possible. The hamachi (yellow tail) and maguro (tuna) are by far the most delicious I have tasted in the United States.

First, let me tell you, my wife was born in Japan and I have served two tours in Japan. Not only have we eaten sushi in places all over Japan, but we have also eaten sushi in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and St. Lous, just to name a few. I consider myself to be an expert when it comes to eating sushi.

We originally began eating at Sushi Wa about 6 years ago when they first opened. We ate there at least once a week, sometimes two. Even though the sushi was the best by far, because everything was ala carte, it became a bit too pricey. For just my wife and I, we were paying about $150 each outing.

During that time we visited just about every "all you can eat" sushi restaurant in Las Vegas. Still, nothing could compare with Sushi Wa.

A few months ago, we noticed they changed their format to all you can eat. We have been eating there twice a week now and will not eat sushi anywhere else.

Sush Wa is the absolute best sushi restaurant in Las Vegas, maybe the United States.

WORST FOOD & SERVICE EVER – Went in today because this place is close to my job, and I regretted it! There was only 1 person eatting there before me and my girlfriend walked in, I should have known is was going to suck. We both ordered california rolls, and I ordered the yellow tail roll, and she ordered the chicken teriyaki roll.

The california roll was okay, but seriously how hard is it to make a california roll. That is the minimum requirement for any sushi place to make that well. However the yellow tail had a weird after taste, and was NOT FRESH at all. I asked my friend to try her chicken roll, and OMG that was awful too! That had a bad after taste, it was so bad and under cook I thought it was seared fish and not chicken. DISGUSTING!

After being so unhappy with the sushi I thought to order the cucumber and seaweed salad. I was horrified that the salad was basically plain cucumbers thrown together with tomatoes and seaweed salad. I love sunomomo, the pickeled japanese cucumbers that most sushi places have. So I informed the chef and waiter that I did not like the salad and its not what I thought it was, and he said he "sorry I can't erase or cancel order"

Needless to say, it took us 20 minutes to get his attention for the bill, yes when there was only a total of 3 people eatting there.

It's very expensive, and if McDonald's sold sushi, I'm pretty sure it was taste better than this so called sushi restaurant!
