loved it!! – My fiance took me there for my birthday. It was our first time there, and the manager was so friendly! I had the scallops and he had the filet mignon.... best meal we've had in a long time!!! We will definitely go back!!

Best Dinner We've Had In Forever! – What an incredible evening at the Carmel Room! My husband and I felt like we had been coming to this restaurant for years even though it was our first time. Terry, the Manager, greeted us at the door as old friends and the excellent service just continued from there. My husbnad had the 3 course meal for $39. What a deal! We honestly felt that the price must have been a mistake for what we thought the value of the meal was. I had the filet and it was cooked perfectly medium rare and literally melted in my mouth. We were seated in a "cove" as the server called it and it felt as though we were in our own private dining room. So intimate and romantic! Service was impeccable and if you order anything here, order the souffle at the beginning of your meal (the server let us know that it takes 30 minutes to cook so we put our order in early). It was the perfect ending to the perfect evening. We had the combination souffle. Overall, this place is a delight! Old Vegas charm and the best food I've had in ages!

Extroardinary service, food and ambiance. Over the years I have had many dinning experences in Vegas. The Carmel room never disapoints. They offer a great product at a very modest price. – The Carmel room is one of my favorite restaurants is visit while I am in Vegas. They offer great deals on Steak, masterfully done seafood, and the wine list is exceptional. During many of my visits, the chef personally came to our table for a personal visit. He usualy brings a special treat. A lost practice for those overpriced restaurants on the strip.

Anyone who is looking for a fabulous meal, should experince the Carmel Room at the Rampart Casino.

In one word..."WOW!!" The spinach salad was sensational, the filet was fabulous, and the creme brulee was to die for. Making this experience even more enjoyable and memorable was the most professional and courteous wait staff I've ever seen...seriously. I've been to Vegas a total of 7 times and have eaten at the Carmel Room during my last 4 visits. I've thrown away more money in 10 minutes at the $5 Black Jack tables than I spent on this amazing dinner experience. Now that I think about it...I probably saved money eating there instead of gambling and certainly enjoyed myself a great deal more. Bottom line...I've frequented many fine dining establishments but the Carmel Room has my absolute HIGHEST recommendation. Try it out...you won't be disappointed.

Great Atmosphere, Great Food! – Carmel Room is a high-class restaurant with a great atmosphere and menu. Wine selection was superb. Appetizers were amazing. I chose the dry aged porterhouse, and it was the best steak I've had in Vegas. Wait staff was friendly and never let my glass run dry. For desert, the souffles are to die for. Without a doubt, I'll visit Carmel Room every time I'm in Vegas.

Very Disappointing – This restaurnat is located in the J. W. Marriott which is attached to the Rampart Casino. The room is elegant with very good service, but the food was not up to par. We ordered a salad to share, but were told they would a $5 charge to split the order, but the waiter offered to bring a 2nd plate for free. The salad was very small for the price. My wife had salmon on a plank with only a wedge of lemon and a small slice on onion. I had seafood over fettucine in a boring cream sauce. The chef apparently is afraid to use spices or even ground pepper. There is no reason for us to ever return.
