Who knew a boutique experience was possible in the middle of a mall? Located inside the Manhattan Beach Shopping Village, this intimate shop--like its wares--is all about refined freshness. Store owner Audrey McLoghlin (who could pass for an all-American Nicole Kidman) has filled the airy, teak-trimmed space with luxe, practical pieces. Neatly folded stacks of silky striped sweaters graze the shiny enamel display blocks while heavenly cashmere wraps, lightweight wool trousers and Raven denim beckon from tidy rows of hangers. In addition to the luscious leather handbags, shoes and other accessories, shelf space is devoted to Aude, McLoghlin's eponymous collection of tailored tees, fitted v-necks and henleys.
