Best Hair Salon. – I have difficult thick curly African American hair. I went to Edward Boye Salon and Edward Boye himself did my color and Brazilian. He worked so well with my hair. My color base has no red. He got my highlights just the right shade of light brown/dark blonde. As far as my Brazilian Blowout he got it the best ever. I have never seen anyone work so hard on my hair. Edward you are the BEST!
Wonderful salon and stylists – I had my hair done with Edward Boye and I had highlights and brazilian blowout done. I had to say, my highlights never look this natural b4. Edward went through the detail b4 we even started, he let me understand what he will do on my hair first which made me really confortable. You know how scary it gets when first time doing new services! Edward was very professional about what he does. I google search about the price on brazilian blowout and that's how I found the salon. you won't be sorry for the price you pay for. I would put 5 stars if I know how to change it on my cell phone. :P I highly recommended this place to anyone. I've been telling all my friends about it!!
Edward Boye' Salon does it all! – I mean to say he does it all and incredibly well in the process. I just started coming to Edward Boye' Salon 2 months ago. My colorist moved away, and I needed my highlights fixed. I attemped to do the front myself. Needless to say I turned it orange. My 2 friends go to his salon for their Brazilian BlowdryTreatments and insisted I go there. I did and now my color is balanced and looks even better then ever, I am going with one of my friends to get the Brazilian and if it comes out even 1/2 as good as hers I will be so happy. I spend too much time everyday flati ironing all my frizzy hair. So Edward Boye' Salon here I come again!! Weeeeeeeeeeeee He Rocks! thanks Gladys

Edward Boye' Salon Just Amazing! – I first met Edward in a popular night spot in West Hollywood on New Years Eve. He was going on about some great new ideas he had about his salons. He was so convincing I had to get over to Beverly Hills that week to see him. The salon is really cool. The staff there are all dressed well and Edward himself looked even handsomer then that night. He did a Brazilian Keratin treatment on me. My frizzy dry hair came to life and swings as I walk. Point being this man runs a really sharp salon, and it's easy to see his employees really like him alot. Each head that leaves there is done so well and he really does oversee al the work there. I wonder if its true what they say about him? The fact that he does have eyes on the back of his head. No wonder his salon is always booked solid. Edward Boye' I like you alot.. Me Wendy // too bad you're gay, always the best are gay WHY what about us? We love beautiful men also!
love my brazilian blowout – I went to Edward Boye Salon 2 weeks ago with my friend. Maggie did my hair and Edward did my friend's. First I loved how they have a piano for decoration. Second, both of them are very friendly. I have fine curly hair, and a lot of them. She took her time to really get in to the roots and flat ironing it. Oh, boy, when she finished the blowout, I couldnt believed it's my hair. It was really shining like i've never seen it on my hair. It's the 3rd week now, my hair still looks good. The price at Edward Boye Salon is just to dye for!!! I also asked Maggie to cut my hair with a little bit more layers. The way she cut the layers was really cool and it blends well!!! Me and my friend just can't get over our hair right now! Haaa...
Edward Boye DOES NOT give a darn about his customers! – Okay folks there are hundreds of salons in Los Angeles, and I have no reason to arbitrarly smear this business. If you want to give him a try because of the cheap price be prepare to get ripped off! Here's the story:
When my stylist moved out of state unexpectedly I had to find someone to refresh my Brazilian Blowout. I call my self saving money and decided to give Edward Boye Salon a try because of the cheap price. Okay a $180 dollar mistake (plus tip). Because I am extremely familiar with how my hair feels with a proper Brazilian Blowout treatment I knew before I left the salon that day that I had a problem. So I decided to give Edward a call to voice my concern. Since his assistant had done my Blowout I called Edward the following day to suggest that he have a look at my hair, but he refused. He turned into a completely different person than he had been the day before. I cannot express how nasty and disrespectful this man treated me within seconds of hearing my concern. He said that he was busy and that it had been done properly so he didn't want to see it...and that's the watered down version. I was shocked! He was so utterly unprofessional when I called that I was inclined to think that he must be on some sort of "mood altering substance"...if you know what I mean...which honesty was also questionable upon first meeeting him. I called back a week later to try again and he told me "I'm not in a good mood right now and will not be able to talk to you in a professional way so call back another day". Due to the fact that my Brazilian didn't even last a month, and the product looked and smelled different than it had when my previous stylist did it, I question if they really use Brazilian Blowout products. I had to have my Brazilian re done 3 weeks later by another stylist who confirmed that there was no way that a Brazilian done properly should look this way in less than a month as the Keratin stays on the hair for about 12 weeks. Okay...my other treatments never lasted 12 weeks but they lasted at least 9. I needed my brazilian to be re done within 2 weeks of leaving Edward Boye's salon! Don't give your money to Edward Boye...he doesn't care about his customers!
