Hey That's Amore – Am I missing something? We had Denny devito and Sweet Child O'Swine. The bread was thick and the flavors were just ok.

Well...now if the sandwiches were $4, maybe I would think about eating it again if I had no other choice, but at $8.99 for a sandwich that is not even that good....forget it! I wouldn't mind paying the price if the sandwiches were good.

When the girl was making my meatballs, I saw her microwaving the meatballs for a few minutes before she put them on the bread to be baked in the oven. Why did she do that? I wonder if the meatballs were frozen ones. Could have gotten defrosted meatballs out of my freezer.

I highly recommend that you do not go here during your lunch time because we went there at around 3:30pm, and there's only one girl working. She's taking the orders, making the sandwiches and pizzas, and answering the phone at the same time. No wonder why we had to wait 35 minutes to get our 2 sandwiches with just one party that ordered 4 sandwiches in front of us. That was 5 minutes or more to make just one sandwich! The sandwiches are definitely not worth the wait.

Another thing is that when the girl was making the sandwiches, she had the gloves on, which was good, and then the phone rang, so she just picked up the phone with the gloves still on, and then after she got off the phone, she just continued making the sandwiches using the same gloves!

That was our first time and last time going there.

I was very disappointed in this place.

Citysearch Editorial Review – Tony Soprano would be right at home at this sandwich shop in the heart of Old Pasadena. Run by an Italian family that can often be heard rattling in animated Italian behind the counter, the homey cafe serves sandwiches with names like The Goodfella, The Mark Sanchez and yes, The Soprano. The little place is plastered with framed pictures from "The Godfather"--and pretty much any other film or TV show celebrating Italians--along with iconic images of Italy and plenty of flags from the homeland. While there are a few basic breakfast items and pizzas on the menu, the main event here is the Italian sandwich. The 25 or so options are served on fresh crusty bread, and may be stuffed with anything from meatballs and mozzarella (The Danny Leonetti) to chicken parmesan with "special secret" garlic pesto (The Soprano). Not surprisingly, you'll see a lot of sandwiches packed with Italian meats like prosciutto, soppressatta and salami, but you'll also find options like a traditional tuna melt (The Big Kahuna Tuna) and the vegetarian-friendly Vinnie Barbarino, with olive or garlic pesto, artichoke and sun dried tomato. There's also Lavazza espresso and a few freezes and smoothies, plus Italian cookies and cannolis. In addition to the tall tables inside, there's outdoor seating on the sidewalk.
