Great party spot!! – Had my girl's birthday here this past weekend, and everything went perfectly - they gave us drink specials, our own section in a different room, and the food was perfect for a bunch of drunks on a mission for burgers, etc. Didn't spend much time watching the TV's, but will def be coming back for game nights real soon!
BEST PARTY SPOT IN MANHATTAN – A GROUP OF FRIENDS AND I WENT TO THE POURHOUSE FOR OUR FRIENDS BIRTHDAY PARTY ON SATURDAY, WHERE SHE WAS TREATED LIKE A CELEBRITY. WE RESERVED THE RED LIGHT ROOM IN THE BACK AND PURCHASED AN OPEN BAR PACKAGE, WHICH WAS A GREAT VALUE. WHEN WE ARRIVED BRIAN, THE GENERAL MANAGER, HOOKED US UP IN A HUGE WAY. OUR RESERVED TABLES WERE WAITING FOR US WITH A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE ON EACH TABLE. WE STARTED OUR OPEN BAR AND PARTIED LIKE ROCK STARS WITH THEIR SATURDAY NIGHT DJ. THE DJ AND MC WERE AWESOME SPINNING ROCK, HIPHOP AND RAP WITH A TON OF MASH UPS. THE MUSIC, BARTENDERS AND OUR VIP TREATMENT FROM BRIAN AND ALL THE BARTENDERS WAS TOP NOTCH. MOST OF US TRAVELED ALL THE WAY FROM LONG ISLAND FOR A NIGHT OUT IN MANHATTAN, AND THE TRIP COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE WORTH IT. ON TOP OF THE GREAT SERVICE, AND VIP TREATMENT THIS BAR/NIGHTCLUB HAS A WORLD CLASS BEER SELECTION. DEFINITELY TOO MANY CHOICES TO INDULGE AT ONCE, BUT WORTH THE TRIP BACK TO CHECK OUT SOME MORE EXOTIC TASTY SUDS. CHECK OUT THIS HOTSPOT THE NEXT TIME YOUR IN THE EAST VILLAGE.
Hot, Hot, Hot – Went to this bar for the first time the other night with my girlfriends to watch the game, great crowd and good looking staff. Unfortunately the giants loss, but the cheap pitchers of beer and god bar food, along with the atmosphere is worth it. A nice, down to earth sports bar in NYC, with a cool crowd. And a male bartender hotter than the wings.
One Hell Of A Birthday Bash – I just threw my birthday at the pourhouse this past weekend, and had the greatest time. I got a free wrist band for it being my birthday, which saved me tons of money, that in such a drunken birthday stet i would have spent. But we really got hooked up, free wrist band bottle of champagne, top notch service, for a occasion that only happens once a year, this was the right choice for me. And i highly recommend anyone to do there next birthday here, they even invited me back for a free hour open bar next week with 10 of my friends. Lve this place, DRINK ON.
HORRIBLE and RUDE management – How many bad experiences can you have in one night? Well, let's see...
(1) We reserved one of the rooms for a birthday party weeks before the event date and confirmed it in the afternoon of the party, but when we got there at 10:30pm, the manager, BRIAN (the meanest person I have ever met in a bar), said our name wasn't on the list.
(2) We managed to obtain our spot, had to share with another party but was able to get some seating for our 40+ people.
(3) Open bar starts from 11:30-1:30, the manager Brian (who is the most unfit for the position) started selling bracelets at 11:34, and cut off the open bar at 1:12am for EVERYONE because he said he caught ONE person passing a drink. Honestly, is that really necessary? We had at least 20 people participating in the open bar and because 1 out of the 20+ passed a drink, he cut it off for everyone?! It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
(4) Oh yeah, before the open bar even began, one of our friends went to the bar to get a drink, he didn't tip the bartender, and the same manager BRIAN, leans close and said "that's it buddy, you're not getting another drink". HOW ABSURD?! First of all, tips are optional and it's given at the sole discretion of the customer. Second, HOW DARE HE???
After this experience, I am never ever going back to this bar or any of its affiliates. I have told and will tell everyone and anyone to avoid this place at all costs, especially if they are planning a party.
This has got to be the worst experience ever, and my friends and I ALWAYS go out to bars to celebrate birthdays, etc. Never have I encountered such an unprofessional and crude management. How do they expect people to come back?
Fun Place – Fun casual atmosphere. Great selection of beers. Go here with a bunch of friends, you're sure to have a great time.
Best Beer Selection in NYC – If you want some great exotic and different beers you cant find at every bar, come to pourhouse. The staff is nice, its not too crowded, and the fans get really into the games. I like it here a lot and come back time and time again for some purple haze beer.
Sports Bar – Pourhouse is the perfect sportsbar. Tons of Tv's, no frills, not trying to be something they arent. Great beer selection and full bar. Perfect place to watch the game.
Love this place – Pourhouse is one of my favorite go to spots on a Friday Night- The crowd is always young, but not too young, attractive and always fun. They have good food and I've met some good people there.
Great time always – I love this place- great beer, great food, and great, cute staff.
i went to my friends bday here recently and i am going to have mine here in a few months- worth checking out.
