Called them at 8:10 am to obtain a quote. Was told owner would be in very shortly and would call me back. I have waited by my phone all day for the return call and I am still waiting. Business must be good and they don't need mine!
At the end of the move-in, not a thing was scratched, our furniture was assembled and we both had the energy to unpack for the remainder of the day. The whole thing took 6 hours for these guys which was amazing, we have some really heavy furniture and stairs but they handled it great ! It was a very hot day but the crew stayed on pace. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon, but, for those who are looking for movers, I'd say give Apple Movers a call as they will handle your move very well.
Apple stayed true to their word when they promised and sold us on their moving crews and integrity. My parents used them for a move from Oklahoma to Georgia and raved about them and their office staff and how they handled all of their concerns prior to the move. We were very specific with what we needed and what we expected as far as pickup and delivery and they surpassed everything as promised. We have never written or posted reviews on ANYTHING, however, this was a special case and we felt the need for others to know and hear how great a company Apple Movers is. We also wanted to thank Randy at Apple Movers for all his help in making our move easy
The two men who came to my apartment to move my stuff were wonderful. They introduced themselves and shook my hand upon arrival. Carefully examined my property and the logistics of what would need to be moved. There was rain and snow the day of the move - they took care and wrapped everything very carefully to be sure nothing would be ruined by the weather. They moved everything out very carefully. When moving - I always thought there would be one casualty - of something getting broken, marked, or damage/scuffs to walls. There was none of this. They also then made sure everything was set up at my new residence properly. It was much appreciated and I will be singing praises to all who will listen. Thank you
“After locating the company on the web, I did some investigation and the service plus the price fit my needs. The help the driver was to us was very much appreciated. Even though it was cold at the pick-up site, he helped and made sure everything was the way they should be. He was very friendly, respectful and helpful. He answered my questions and explained things as I was signing the papers. At the delivery site, they again were very helpful and help set up the items that needed it. There were no unpleasant surprises. We were surprised at how helpful the driver was. Choose this company. You will not regret it if you received the same friendly, helpful service that my family and I received. Continue training your personnel the way you do. They provided excellent service and all had a respectful sense of humor.”
My boyfriend and I were moving from Edmond and Penn & Memorial, respectively, into what may be the cutest pink house in the Castro. The only issue was: it was a third floor walk-up, so we called Apple Moving Company.
I initially spoke with Randy on the phone, who gave me an estimate over the phone and confirmation via email. We booked the movers around 10 days in advance, and had to opt for a Monday move-in vs. our original plan of Saturday, which is understandable based on the short lead-time. Randy quoted us 5to 7 hours with 3 movers, which was $96/hour-- which was to move two separate apartments into one. (Also, their minimum. Additional time is counted in 30 min. increments.)
On moving day, our three-man crew consisted of Russell (who handled all the paperwork and was the "main driver"), George and Anthony. Our starting window was from 8-10am, and after phoning me a little bit before 8am, they arrived at the first apartment at 8:30am. They took 2 hour to pack up my boyfriend's apartment and arrived at my place by 10:50am, and then the new apartment around 12:30.
What the guys will do: disassemble bed frames (and any bulky items, such as our dinging table.) and will wrap/tape them up in blankets for protection, as well as re-assemble at your new apartment, provide mattress covers (for $7/each), provide wardrobe boxes for all of your clothes on hangers, and also provide any extra boxes for things you may have forgotten to pack. Note, they will make you empty the drawers on your desk and night stands and a few other item into boxes (I never did with previous moves) so that is where you may incur box charges.
I will say that these guys work pretty quickly, and I did NOT envy them as they hauled these heavy boxes up three flights of stairs in our new apartment. Towards the end, it was mostly two guys doing the moving, while one re-assembled furniture. I had to unpack the wardrobe boxes (no problem)

SIX HOURS. While I do not doubt the work of the three men, I was a bit disappointed that the quote was off a little from the original conversations I had with Randy. It was a very hot day to the men's credit. In the end, we paid $800+tip to the hard-working crew.
I hope I don't have to move anytime soon, but, for those who are looking for movers, I'd say give Apple a call as they will handle your move very well.
Great service! I had to move between Norman to Yukon. I was extremely impressed because I procrastinate, I had 3/4 of my items packed by the time they showed up. However, they were able to help me load my items WAY fast, and had everything done in less time than I had expected if I had already had all of my stuff packed. AMAZING. And super cost efficient and friendly, I would recommend to anyone.
so happy! – I've used this Apple Movers twice in my life. First time was over a decade ago, and they did a great job. Recently I had moved some furniture on my own to save money and the hassle of getting people to help me and the physical pain of doing so... not so great. I ended up moving quickly after that and I didn't want to do that again, so I used Apple Movers as I had before. They were on time and exceptionally efficient. Definitely worth the money. They used blankets, wrapped things, no damage to furniture or anything and had everything completed in less than two hours, including over 30 miles travel.
We have moved several times and this was our best experience by far! From the first call to the office to when the last piece of furniture came off the truck everyone at Apple Movers was friendly and professional. The price was exactly what they said it would be and nothing was damaged. They even helped us hang our 60 inch flat screen on the wall. It was obvious these movers knew what they were doing and wanted us to be pleased. Highly recommended!!
I cannot say enough great things about Apple Movers. I was stressed about my move because I have several large items upstairs. When I called for a quote, I spoke with Nancy and she set an appt for me to have an in home estimate, she was very professional and courteous. The owner, Randy came out for the appt and went through my home and gave me a written estimate. He was very professional and answered all my questions. Based on his estimate and the service I had gotten to this point, I found it an easy choice to contract with Apple Movers.
On moving day, the movers showed up on time and got right to work. They stayed busy and I was very impressed with the way they handled everything. They made moving the larger items from upstairs look easy. They were professional and handled all of my things with care. Unloading at my new home was the same, only faster than I expected. The overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Apple Movers and will definitely use them again.
