Vizio TV with extended Walmart Warranty – I have an extended warranty from walmart on a 42 vizio. I was called by kwick service ele. to repair my tv thru walmarts warranty. I first heard from the and they wanted s/n and model number. They also asked what problem I was having and said that my problem would require them to replace the mainboard. They were suppose to order the part. 3 days later I get a call that they cannot order my part without taking my tv to their shop. I am totally discusted. When I still had the vizio warranty their repair guy brought the mainboard with him and installed in my home in less that 20 mins. There is no reason they should have to take it to their shop if the contractor for vizio can order the part so can they. I am glad after reading these reviews of how long it takes to get your tv back after letting them take it, that I did not allow them to take my tv. They were of no help at all ! Useless ! If you need to see what a part number is then come to my location and take it apart and get the part number , order it and come back when you have it. I can still use my tv. My problem is the sound quits working intermittantly and I can turn it off and back on and then it will work. I do not want to do without any tv at all.
I apologize for the issue you had, and I just wanted to clarify that this was a case of a TV having multiple chassis versions with no way to determine the parts needed without seeing the TV. It is our policy to repair these units in the shop as it overall can lead to a faster repair time. Our goal is a fast repair time on every repair, and with current manufacturing practices by the majority of the manufacturers this sometimes entails bringing the unit into our shop.
They should be ashamed of themselves!!!! – Absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced!!!! Was quoted $300 to fix my TV and should take a week or less, I had to call 2 weeks later to find out what was going on. I was told they ordered the wrong part the first time and then the second time the part didn't work and he was going to order another and would be done in a couple days. Finally was called another WEEK later that it was ready. I went to pick it up and asked to speak with a manager. He explained what happened with the part said sorry for not calling, that they should have and didn't know why it wasn't done. I asked for at least a discount for such terrible service, he refused and tried to take my TV back and said he would just keep it and SELL IT!!!!! He told me he had too much money put into it and only charged me $100 for labor, and that I was one of the few to complain about anything and I agreed to the price in the first place. I was humiliated by 2 extremely rude men and when I got home the side of the TV was scratched!!!! Will never go back and would NEVER recommend anyone.
Mrs. P- I want to apologize for your service experience. We strive for great customer service and in your eyes it appears that we did not do that.
While I was aware of this situation, I was not aware of the extent of the issue.

Beyond Expectations – Kwik Service repaired my Panasonic Plasma is less than 1 hour. The technician knew how to do all the repairs from memory and got the TV working like new. They were easy to deal with, professional and courteous. Highly recommended for TV repair.

No Way!!! – I took my 42" Plasma in for an estimate. I was told that my problem was the Main Digital Board, not that it might be, but that it was. Kwik priced the board to me at $264.95 and $200.00 Labor to replace it. These numbers sounded high to me so I didn't let them repair it. I bought the Digi Board for $188.03 from another Hitachi Dealer and easily replaced the Digi Board my self. Well there diagnosis was wrong. TV still did exact same thing. Not only did Kwik inflate the price of the Board, but was going to charge me $200 to do a quick easy board swap. On top of trying to over charge me, they would have told me that I need to spend more money with them before they would fix my TV. I don't believe any troubleshooting is going on there, seems like parts swapping to me at there customers expense.
NO WAY WILL I EVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!
This customer brought his TV in for repair and it was diagnosed. The customer then picked the TV up and replaced the part themselves, and at that point there were additional problems. If we are authorized to repair a TV and the part replaced does not fix the unit, the customer is NEVER responsible for that cost. I'm sorry we could not help this customer further.
Great price, quick service, great job! – MY RCA 46 inch tv broke, and I took it in and they took care of it. And what's awesome is the 40 dollars you pay for them to look at it, goes towards the cost of the repairs... so it wasn't that costly at all. Very great price, great service, always calling me and keeping in touch with what was wrong with my TV. Also they fixed it very quickly. Just a few days. Took it there on a friday, called on monday and told me it would be ready the next day. AWESOME! I would definitely go there again, and recommend all my friends.

I didn't even have to move my TV! – Called Kwik on Tuesday, they sent a tech (Jim) to my home on Wednesday. Jim diagnosed the problem, but did not have the part with him. He gave me an estimate, confirmed that the part was at their shop, and came out the next day to fix it. Great service!
Great service and efficiency – A friend of mine had previously used Kwik Service for his Sony TV, so when mine broke, he highly recommended using these guys. My TV (a JVC) was still under warranty, but was told that Kwik was authorized to repair my set. I called these guys up, they scheduled an appointment to come to my house. Upon arrival, they promptly diagnosed and treated the problem! A heck of a lot easier than lugging that big thing in somewhere! A+ service, these guys. Highly recommend!
Great service, totally in home. Very prepared – I called Panasonic for service on my new plasma TV. I set the service up with them for 2 days later. Later that day, i got a call from Kwik, confirming the problem, and letting me know they were going to order a part. The next day, the part arrived in the morning, and Kwik said they could have someone out that afternoon. They came out, installed the parts, and got my TV going! All in less than 2 days!! Very good service!
Avoid at all costs! – I have purchased 2 50+ inch lcd hdtvs and both have had problems, each time the warranty departments for samsung and for sharp have referred me to Kwik Service. Both TVs were kept for an unreasonable amount of time, many many weeks, months in one case, and warrant extensive phone calls to find out the status. Both TVs have been delivered to me with EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE! Kwik Service claims that the TVs are fixed, but they aren't, and they actually argue with you that there isn't a problem. If you can avoid this place, please do so at all costs.
