I am genuinely disappointed in this restaurant. We have come on multiple occasions and I feel that it was a waste of my money. The service was very slow and the waitresses did not seem to care. They have a fair prices menu for lunches with a good selection. But, If you have only an hour for lunch this is not a place that will accommodate your schedule. We waited 35 minutes for our two meals to come to us. When we asked what was taking so long the waitress gave us some lame excuse and walked off. The atmosphere is fun but the service does not justify the visit. This will be my last time trying to patronize Geno's.

BEST PLACE AROUND FOR SPORTS AND FOOD – HUGE TV's everywhere, Great food, ice cold beers and the staff was really friendly. Can't wait to watch football here again. My wife and I will be back, often!! One of the servers is also a winterhawk dancer, so cute.

Poor Service – We come to Genos for the Fights almost every Saturday that they have them. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I have yet to recieve good service. Everytime we go in, it takes about 20 minutes before we are even given a menu. There is one male server that has come over to our table to serve us everytime( not kidding) because he has noticed us waiting, and apologizes and says the girl was busy. She was busy catering only to a table of people who had a guy there that supposedly was the manager, yet didn't mind that she wasn't tending 2 4 tables with 4 or more people at each table not being acknowledge when they sat down. We didn't get beverages till35 min. after sitting down.

This guy is awesome and I wish I new his name- longer hair and gotee- He defianetly deserves a raise, and they need to find new females to work there.

My boyfriendis to the point were he wants to find some other business to support to watch the fights.

Not what it used to be – First, let me stipulate: I know it's tough to run a business. I can only imagine trying to survive in the restaurant business these days, with a weak economy and lots of corporate competition with economy of scale advantages.

Nevertheless, as a customer, I have to insist on those things that favor me.

I had not been to Geno's for some time. Not for any particular reason...just hadn't made it by for a while. I had previously enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere, which were all better than average.

This time, something seemed missing. The menu has been changed, eliminating the sandwich I normally ordered (Teriyaki Chicken). I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak instead.

Waiting for my food, I wondered why all 30 or so TV monitors were tuned to the same football game (there used to be four main ones, each tuned to a different game or show). I thought I'd nevertheless listen, but the speaker at my table was broken.

The food came, and the sandwich was enormous. That's not really a good thing; it was ridiculously huge...not really fit for a normal human. The quality of the sandwich was not too bad, although the roll was bland. The french fires were still pretty good, although the all-you-can eat deal seems to have disappeared in the menu renovation.

My chief complaint, which may seem petty, was that they seem to have changed ketchup to some funky tasting house brand, perhaps in a misguided attempt to contain food cost. My suggestion: splurge on the ketchup, and cut back on the half-pound of pickles on the plate. The ketchup is important when you are basically a french-fry-based restaurant. If I'm paying $10 for a sandwich, I really don't want to feel like I'm being nickel-and-dimed on condiments.

service and food continue to go downhill – We've been going to Geno's since it used to be "Damon's". We used to really like going there as they had good drinks, food and staff. But over the past 12 months things have really gone downhill. (1) They did away with my favorite drink at the bar. (2) My son used to love their wings, but now they make them way too HOT/SPICY. Our family loves to have wings, but don't order them at Geno's any more. They used to have great wings, but switched the sauce for some reason? Bad decision. (3) My wife and I were just there about a week ago (August 2009). We sat down at one of their tables in the bar. Even though they appeared to be "slow" the tables weren't wiped down? The staff at the bar seemed to ignore us for at least 3 - 4 minutes as they visited with both co-workers and their friends seated at the bar. The waitress eventually came over and wiped down our table, but used a towel that seemed to contain a 'sour milk' type smell which left an odor residue on our table. We had to eat our food with the odor still there, which didn't make things very appetizing. (4) Geno's got in trouble and the State of Oregon pulled their lottery machines. We were told they would get them back Dec. 2009. (5) There are about a dozen tv's in the bar area, but they only have 3 or 4 turned on.........we were there at 5 p.m. on a Friday?--------------If customer service continues to go downhill, I see this place probably closing its doors in the next 12 - 24 months.

Great Pizza!! – I've gone to Geno's for the last 2 years. The crew has gotten a lot better since I first started and the food has always been good. As a sportsbar, it's the only one in Gresham worth going to (not saying much). Pizza is really good and the drinks are pretty strong. One warning, don't go on Wednesdays. It is the cheap drink night and the young kids flock there, TOO LOUD. It's my favorite place to go other than that. I think Jeremy is the manager, he's awesome!!
