Great service, good food – The first thing that you like about this restaurant (once your wait for seating is over) is the nice ambience for a restaurant jostled inside a mall. [the wait is bearable as you get a pager so that you can shop, don't go too far as JCPenney as it will not work that far in the mall].
The servcie is amazing, been there close to 3 times and was always blown away by the service. The restaurant is almost always full, but they have enough servers to keep good check of all their customers.
Coming to food, their menu is quite expansive. Some items are really good... we loved the Firecracker Salmon: yummy and spicy: an innovative dish and a must eat. We ordered the Jamaican Black pepper with Chicken and Shrimp - that turned out to be really good as well, the shrimp and chicken were cooked to the right amount (nice and juicy). On an earlier visit, I ordered their Chicken & Shrimp gumbo, which wasn't as spicy as expected.
Overall, very pleasant dining experience.
The service was excellent! – We went to the cheesecake factory and the service was excellent! I had a great time and love the food. I appreciate the all the selections of cheesecake :)
Adam is the BEST!!! – My wife and I went to Cheesecake Factory last week and the serivce was excellent. We always go there and I have to say...this time we had fun!! Plus the food was great too! Our server was Adam. If you go there, ask for Adam. He's fast and super friendly. He would refill my sprite without me even saying a word. He knew exactly what we wanted. Even kept the bread and butter coming while we waited for our food. Thanks so much Adam...we will definitely come back soon!!! :)
Love Children but not in the bar area – It's 9pm on Sat night and we got a black tabletop in the bar. The booths in the bar are part of the resturant and seated at both tables were parents with children. The kids were fussy and crying. Drinks were slow coming and the server kept apologizing for delays. The food is always good and service was so so. Suggestion, have the hostess be aware about where she is seating parents with children. They were just as uncomfortable as we were and quickly ate and left. Not a good experience for us and surrounding guest in the bar.
Nothing is worth that wait – We waited 45 minutes to be seated and another 30 minutes to place our order. My husband wasn't hungry so just order a slice of cheesecake, which he did not get so took it to go. Could not get refills on our beverages, until we got the check. Very disappointing, we won't go back.
You should visit it – Cheesecake Factory Restaurant
On Saturday my family and I went to this restaurant. It's located in the new wing of Washington Square next to Macy's and Sephora. Many times we went to this restaurant, so my sisters and I chose it to celebrate my parent’s marriage anniversary because it's a romantic restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very dark, modern and the music was soft. The waiters wear casual clothes of high quality. On the weekend the restaurant gets crowded, but we didn't wait a long time just, we sat 10 minutes. My family ordered Weight Management Spicy Chicken Salad. They let me try what they ordered. The components are grilled chicken, roasted poblano, red and yellow peppers, fresh corn, black beans, onions, cilantro Served with Mixed Greens and Low-Cal Spicy Vinaigrette. The salad was fresh, but it was very spicy for me. I ordered fettuccini with chicken and sun-Dried tomatoes which is in a sun-dried tomato sauce with garlic, cream and parmesan cheese. It was delicious. I drank strawberry with lemon. It was very sweet and fresh. The price was reasonable, but what I don’t like in this restaurant is the waiters are too attentive.
Huge Portions – My family has gone to the Cheesecake Factory many of times! Food always comes out great and there is always lots to choose from so there is always something for everyone. The only bad thing is you have to wait, but the food IS worth waiting for. The portions are HUGE so you can share and get an appetizer too
Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain. – In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.
Great Service! – While visiting friends in Portland, we took them to Cheesecake Factory for Sunday dinner. The food was excellent, but my husband's pasta had a tiny piece of plastic in it, like a piece of twist tie, so we gave it to the server and told her to have the chef check the rest of the pasta. We didn't expect to get it taken off the bill, but the manager rushed right over and not only took it off but also offered us any piece of cheesecake on the house as well! Having worked in a restaurant in college, I know how these things can sometimes happen in the kitchen, but it's how the management deals with the situation that matters! Thank you!
