GREAT FOOD SINCE CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP! – Since the ownership change catch 22 has really turned around. The service is expedient, the food is good and it has an all around fun atmosphere. I have been there multiple times and have never been disappointed. Their filet is delicious and the shrimp and grits and bbq salmon and shrimp are both to die for. If you are looking for a fun restaurant with great quality seafood at a reasonable price catch 22 is the place for you.

Really bad food, no customer care – My one and only visit to Catch 22 resulted in my never ever wanting to go there again. The waitress was slow -- we waited over 15 minutes before she came to our table -- had the attitude that she did not care whether we were there or not -- never came back to our table once our order was delivered. We had to get someone else to provide tea and water as we ran out! Needless to say she did not get one penny tip! Our food was awful! The soft-shell crab appetizer special was slightly "off" (tainted?) and the sauce on it was fiery hot. Quite unpleasant. The following calamari were so over cooked that the breading was deep brown -- the calamari was so tough it was inedible! I sent it back refusing to eat it and had to wait ANOTHER 10 minutes for the waitress to return so that I could order something else. On ordering their fried oysters, they too came way over cooked, the breading hard and dark brown -- they went back too, uneaten. The so-called steamed snap peas were delivered barely luke warm and had NO flavor, no seasoning at all -- no butter, no salt, nothing, just boiled in plain water which made them taste like chlorine! When I demanded to speak with the manager, she came over with a very bad, uncaring attitude stating that she had removed both items from my bill. Outraged I told her that she had no choice in the matter, since I did not pay for food I did not eat! I then asked her what compensation she gave unhappy customers for really bad food and service experiences and she promplty informed me "none." She then walked away! My other 3 guests had similar experiences, too unpleasant to go into detail over. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place at all -- go at your own risk. Bad (possibly spoiled) food, poor (non existant) service.
