I was told item was in the shipping dept and would be sent out the next day 3 times.
1 1/2 weeks later same situation.
Still waiting with the same answer. " I don't know sir all I can tell you its in shipping. How about some service!
Go look, get with whse. Final answer.
NO SERVICE. Dont care. Wont return for anymore purchases.
Didn't get to order because they have a twisted (Obama-ics) interpretation of the laws.
I have a home in Nevada and California. I wanted to order 15 round mags and have them shipped to Nevada. They won't even take the order because the billing address is California.
Lady on the phone said it was the "Owner's interpretation of the law".
I said it's incorrect, and they're hurting their business by not taking orders. She said, "Business is doing just fine".
These are the type of retailers that would rather supply the agencies than the public. They care more about their pocket books than the 2nd amendment. Next website I went to had no problem taking my order.
BTW - Exile Machines will actually ship large capacity mags to CA. They open the box, disassemble the mags and sell them as repair kits. Totally legal in CA. Or if you buy from another retailer, you can have the order shipped to them and for a fee, they'll disassemble, then ship them to CA.
Read the reviews. See where they are called liars? See where they have absolutely no customer service? It's true. I placed an order for two guns. I got a confirmation with a confirmation order. After a couple of weeks I called and asked about the order. I was told "gee, I don't know what happened it should ship tomorrow" Well, it didn't ship tomorrow but it did ship the next day and they only shipped one gun. So I call and they go into total denial. They don't accept responsibility for their actions. If they screw up, you eat it. Not only that, they say they are going to bill you actual shipping charges, but they bump them up big time.
VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE – Purchased several handguns and one rifle with excellent results. The price on the handguns was lowest among 4 other dealers. Purchasing and receiving the product was simple, I provided the FFL license and used a credit card and received the guns quickly. I have also purchased accessories but no ammo. I am happy with Sportsmans Guide for ammo so have never tried anyone else. I have dealt with customer service reps at Centerfire and was treated professionally.
Great deals - need to understand what you're buying – I am an FFL in Oregon, and I have been buying firearms, magazines, and ammunition from Shane Coe for quite some time. I have never been disappointed.
People need to understand what they are purchasing before they blindly jump in. Shane imports firearms from developing countries. Some of these are mil-sur that have been stored for 30, 40, even 50 years. Some of these were produced during civil wars, blockades, and tough economic times. These guns are representative of the times they come from.
Even the late model, new items are from places where quality control is nonexistent. The price and location should indicate what a customer is receiving.
Centerfire does not misrepresent anything. I have always received items that looked as good or better than described.
Dishonest and rude – Buyer beware, if you see anything on the Centerfire Systems site listed in "as is" condition it means the item may not actually be functional nor can it be made functional.
I ordered 12 PSL magazines, and upon arrival found that the followers only moved on 4 of them - the rest were firmly rusted in place and even with a punch/hammer would barely move. Centerfire Systems ignored my e-mail inquiries, and when I called them they said that yes it was expected that complete dis-assembly, cleaning, lubrication and reassembly would be required for these magazines - even though that was not mentioned anywhere in the ad. They refused refund/exchange for the magazines and went on to tell me about how great of a deal I got since nobody else has the magazines available, and if I managed to find a clean working PSL mag it would run $40+. I did a quick search and found multiple other vendors have magazines in stock and available for only a little more than Centerfire, they even properly detailed the condition of the magazines unlike Centerfire.
I spent hours getting the 4 semi-working magazines ripped apart, wire brushed, ultrasonic cleaned, lubed and re-assembled - but they were only rusty and greasy with a little drag on the follower. 4 of them I get to spend multiple hours cleaning up hoping they reassemble in working condition, and 4 of them are rusted and malformed so severely it would be impossible to make them functional (rust between the layers of steel is creating large bulges in the magazine body).
Basically they are selling a crap product and know it, so they are selling "as is" without letting the customer know that the product is very likely impossible to repair into working condition. They're crooks.
Terrible customer service, avoid at all costs – I placed an order because of their somewhat low prices. I ordered ammo and accessories totaling over $200. Two weeks later, I called them because I hadn't received my order.
They said, "your debit card never went through."
I told them I was pretty upset that they didn't call, or even email me to tell me this. So, I placed the order again and verified the debit card.
Two weeks later, still nothing. I called them and found out that they placed the order twice on my account which had overdrawn my account, therefore the transaction was denied. I was outraged, the rude woman I was speaking with told me she had to talk to her manager and would call me back in five minutes. I never received a call back.
These people are liars, unprofessional, and extremely incompetent.
Bad service, stay away – I had a really bad experience with these guys, and the way they handled it is what made up my mind to never buy from there again.
I ordered some accessories from Centerfiresystems, and ammo from CTD at the same time. 2 days after my ammo arrived and my accessories order did not, I called them and they told me that they have shipped the order.
I waited couple of more days and called again, the customer service representative told me that they mistakenly sent my order to my billing address, not my shipping address (which I specifically indicated in my order), and that my order is on its way back to them.
I told him since the wrong address was completely their fault, they should at least send my shipment with next-day delivery.
He flatly refused, and I'm still waiting for my order.
Centerfire system is a TOTAL JOKE – Every single one of the workers there lies like a mother, first they sent me a defective and all beat up firearm and claims that it is new, and when I tried to return it, they said UPS will pick it up in 2 days, guess what? no one came to pick them up! I called them back and no one claims to ever talk to me and saids I have to talk to a return specialist and she is not here so call back later. They were all rude every single one of them and acted like I owe them money or something. they are total thieves! I still have this banged up defective rifle here and I think I am totally screwed
Dishonest – I placed an order with this company and after they lied (3 times) about shipping my order, i canceled the order and they still shipped it 24 hours later and charged me. PLEASE do not use this Company. They are dishonest and VERY unprofessional.
