relief from back pain and insomnia – When I started Dahn I had a really stiff lower back from an injury. I had been working nights and had stressed out my system and my mind with work and family. After just one week of classes I felt like a new person. Where I would usually either sleep too much or keep waking up every hour I now had more consistant deeper sleep. I noticed that I smiled more at people. After several months I could actually wake up in the morning without feeling like I was crippled from the back pain. The main focus to harmonize mind, body first then to harmonize with the rest of my life saved me. I feel alive and vital and accomplishing more then I ever dreamed I could.
Improving my overall condition – I had been at my doctor’s office and had high blood pressure. I was looking for some type of exercise that would help with that help get the blood flowing and offset carpal tunnel in my arms. I came to give it a try, and after a month and a half, I started noticing changes taking place. My posture improved, and as I felt the blood flowing through my body, my body was loosening and warming up. I began to get healthier, so I began to participate a couple times a week and it’s a good thing. I enjoy Dahn Yoga.
Better Sleep – For the past 8 months, I have slept 3 hours a day, always feeling tired, unfocused, and angry because of the lack of sleep. After just the a few session of dahn yoga & Brain Wave Vibration, I could sleep the whole night. Since then, I have been able to sleep 7 hours a day consistently. I have only been practicing dahn yoga & Brain Wave Vibration since May 10 at Kingwood dahn center. I got already great benefit. Thank you!!
A Good place for recovering health & happiness – I am a caregiver for my elderly parents. It is quite stressful and impacts one both physically and emotionally on a daily basis. You never know what their needs are going to be on a day-to-day basis. I have found dahn yoga and Brain Wave Vibration to be a most useful tool for alleviating my daily stress. It is a rather simple technique to follow. All one has to do is shake one's head up and down and back and forth and after fifteen minutes of doing this I feel the stress flowing out of my body. I really wish that there was a way to get the word out to more people about this rather simple technique. Then more people can reap the benefits and society as a whole will become healthier
Scary, Scam, Cult – I thought it was strange that I couldn't see or participate in one class before signing up and I had to go through an evaluation, and an orientation before going to class, but I signed up for one month, because it had a 72 hour cancellation anyway.
I have been to many, many yoga classes, and I actually taught yoga for a few years before I started a family.
The evaluation was very strange and painful, but I thought, hey, it's a different culture, be open minded etc., see a class before judging. The next night was my orientation, again very strange, but I hadn't seen a class yet, and I really wanted to get back into yoga. I went to my first class after orientation on the same night. This was extremely strange, scary, and cult like. Beating your stomach, beating your chest.
The next day I went in for my refund, it had been about 36 hours, remember I had 72. Well is was very difficult but he finally gave my refund minus the class I had attended and my orientation. There was nobody there and he kept saying he was too busy, and he had to call someone first. I explained I could call and there was nobody there and I wanted my refund. Do a search of Dahn Yoga before you go in there. There are many articles and news stories about it, that I wish I had looked at before going.
beware – It's interesting to note that when you click on vortex_park's profile you find that vortex_park has been a member for 2 months, one year, 6 months and started because of a headache, then shoulder pain, then skin problems depending on which 'personality' you believe . Can anyone say 'false advertising?' Exercise and meditation are proven to be beneficial and there are many other traditional groups to choose from that don't employ the controversial methods and greedy sales pitches of the Dahn Hak organization. One session of beating my belly and screaming how much I love myself was enough for me. Disclaimer: They have been known to help some people.
EASY TO FOLLOW – I love this dahn practice. I was a person never done exercise.
so I was extremly stressed out. and I had to have a medicine 2 times a week for headache. now I am so happy I can handle it without medicine. It is one of the best way to reduce old emotions
I have improve my relationships too.
