Enjoy the Night Out On The Patio – I'm not sure what the decor is inspired by, but for some reason, it works. When I think of "Factory", I think of an over-sized sweat shop, not archways with bronze doors and large murals on the wall. But, like I said, for some reason, it just works.

If you're a barfly, go see Margaret or Wade - both have been with the company quite some time and really know how to tend to a guest's needs, requests, and experience. Huge kudos to both.

But, this review is specifically aimed at the restaurant's large outdoor patio, tangent to the First Colony Mall's fountain. It's calming and romantic. Provided parents have their children under control (You can't have it all sometimes).

Yes, the menu takes quite a while to browse, so make sure you order an appetizer - you won't realize how much time you've spent looking over the menu and it will feel like it's taking forever for your food when in actuality, you were just reading the novel they placed in front of you. Bread is offered at lunch, but should be automatically brought to the table during dinner, so make sure your server is catering to the rules of the land. Sometimes, they're just being lazy. And the honey-wheat bread is uh... mazing. Don't go without.

Chicken Madeira is the highlight of the menu. Amazing sauce, HUGE portion, and served up with signature sides. A definite recommendation from yours truly.

You, of course, MUST get cheesecake. The server should (key word "should") do what's called a dessert presentation, pointing out three cheesecakes from the menu and offering a coffee drink made over at the bakery. (Yes. Even though no "baking" is really done, it's still called one) If you don't get cheesecake, it's kind of like wiping before you poop. It don't make no sense.

It's wise to split menu items between two people. The portions are so enormous that if you get separate meals, you'll definitely need a To-Go box. So, do yourself a favor, save some money, leave room for dessert, and everyone will go home happy.

'Til next time, kids. -n@.

Special Reservations? Ask for GM Shan – The Rotunda Room is a great spot to feel the feng shui. I suggest ordering the Mediterranean Mahi Mahi. You can't go wrong with the classic Strawberry Cheesecake.

The GM, Shan, went out of his way to make us happy after he found out that customer service was lacking.

I have yet to be disappointed with a dish – This is the only place that I can say that I don't have a favorite dish to order when I go all the time. I always try something different and everything that I have always tried was always good. The service is good and its very affordable. I love the atmosphere and the ambiance.

Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain. – In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.

Never Again! – My family has been eating at The Cheesecake Factory about every other week now since it opened -- But We Will Never Ever Go Back There Again.

I am a student and am currently taking a photography class. I noticed the lighting on the outside of the building so I wanted to snap a photo of the outside of the building.

A over zealous security guard ran me off the premises and insinuated I could be a muslim as if The Chessecake Factory was some high value target for Al Quida. He told me to leave and that I was trespassing and followed me to the car, called in my licence plates, while calling for police -- I could not believe it!

Reliably tasty but blase service – Went here for a weekday lunch during a recent trip home to Houston (I live in NY). The food was tasty as it customarily is when I dine at Cheesecake Factor - delicious rigatoni, good (not phenomenal) guacamole (this is Texas, there's better guac to be found elsewhere) & an absolutely luxurious & yummy Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake that was heavenly sinful (even when split 3 ways).! That being said, all would've been enhanced if our server was a bit more friendly. Oh he wasn't directly rude but geez, a few smiles, just one smile or even a few friendly words said by an unsmiling face would've been better than the chilly air we received from our waiter. He wasn't very attentive & eventually, asking him for things felt like we were inconveniencing him! Now he DID oblige us when he asked him to take our photo but holy moly, for his sake I hope he was just having a bad day or something. If we didn't already enjoy this franchise's food, I would maybe hesitate before returning here. But given the trusty Cheesecake Factory name, we would probably come back!

Terrible Service & Sub-Par Food – Overall not a good experience. My pasta was more like soup---way too much sauce. Service was terrible.
